We are SO glad you found Radon Shield. After the first standard radon test came back 0.0, we knew we weren't going to purchase that home without another inspector preforming a re-test. The seller stated no one tampered with the test but with her tenants on-site we had our questions. I rarely write reviews but Benedict and his team at Radon Shield deserve to be recommended. We recently purchased a house and the inspection confirmed high levels of Radon in the basement. I had reached out to other radon remediation companies and was disappointed with their timing flexibility (only available during work hours Mon-Fri) and the high quotes. Benedict not only accommodated us but was left with a challenging project, more complicated than initially thought. Through his hard work, helping guide us through the whole process by explaining the challenges, he was able to remediate the radon. It went far better than I could have imagined. He was running a little behind schedule and called me to let me know precisely when he would arrive. He reviewed our report, inspected our basement and existing "passive" radon system and thoroughly explained what he would do every step of the way. He wanted to make sure I knew exactly what work was going to be done and why, and he almost insisted I stay by to observe every step he went through. After the work was done he kept in touch with me and called me within minutes of receiving the radon results. A system that tested as high as 7 was lowered to 0.8 in less than one week. This company, Benedict in particular, are examples of what customer service and education should strive for.

He kept me informed what was going on and came and installed the system as agreed. Every time I called him he answered the phone which is very rare. I would definitely use him again.
