Description of Work: I spoke with Michael and informed him of what I wanted to be done. In liew of Hurricane Sandy it was decided that we would touch base after the storm. I have called and emailed Michael several times and he has not responded back to me. He never gave me the opportunity to see what his pricing would be. If he is busy, I would have least appreciated a phone call or email letting me know. I just will move on and get someone else to do this job. WHY ARE YOU ON ANGIES LIST, WHEN YOU DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. IF YOU'RE BUSY, AT LEAST RESPOND TO CUSTOMERS SEEKING YOUR SERVICE!

Description of Work: There were no services performed.

Description of Work: I had needed my front door and back door repainted, my upstairs bathroom painted and a chair rail put in along my kitchen wall. Then in July we had his back to sand down our doors, as they were swelling in the heat and humidity.

Description of Work: I called Mike to help me replace 3 light fixtures and replace and install new smoke detectors throughout the house. Mike had to replace a kitchen fixture that required some repair paint work as well. He did the job beautifully. He fixed a storm door that hadn't closed properly and several other small jobs, including hanging several pictures. He installed Roman shades in guest room and insured that they worked properly. Mike went to the hardware store, at my request, to get the materials that he would need, for which I reimbursed him (smoke detectors, etc.) I was so impressed with Mike's professionalism, that I have arranged to have him come back to my house for additional work.

Description of Work: He did an excellent job. I had him hand a ceiling fan from a vaulted ceiling (about 14 feet) and fix a storm door that was not closing properly. He called me back when I first called him and set up an appt within a few days. He was on time and he did the work perfectly and he cleaned up. He charged me exactly what we agreed on when we discussed the job on the phone. I would use him again

Description of Work: I was referred to Mike from a friend of mine. I first used him in January to redo my daughter's bedroom, he repainted the walls and ripped up the carpet and installed a hardwood floor. She is 22 and was looking for an older look. He went with her to Home Depot, took his time and really helped her figure out exactly the look she wanted. I was so pleased with the turn out of her room, I had him come in to re-do my youngest daughter's room. She is 7 and chose the colors lime green and bright purple. I was nervous. However Mike found a way to not only make it work, but make it look amazing!! Everytime I walk by her room I can't help but do a double take - it looks so good! He painted the walls (I should mention, the previous paint job was a Yankees Stadium mural - not an easy task to cover up!), removed the carpet, put in a hardwood floor, replaced the light fixture and fan, and put on new closet doors. Lastly, I used him this past month to re-do my deck with Trex. It went from dingy, old hardwood to a beach-feeling backyard. He also repainted all of the furniture, and gazebo white to match, as well as create a bar area surrounding the gazebo, and digging out the area around it and pouring in concrete. It looks really great!
