Joe is very nice and did a great job with small repairs around our house.

I contacted four different contractors to get estimates for this job. They were all about the same, but Joe was the only one who actually came to my house to evaluate the existing structure before providing a bid. In the end, I went with him because I could be assured that he had already accounted for any complications unique to my house, since he had actually seen it, such as the fact that there were wires in the area that would need to be moved. I had to wait several weeks for Joe to start the job because he had some larger jobs already on his plate. I took this as a good sign -- a busy contractor is probably a good contractor. Joe arrived on time with his son the first day of the job. He was very transparent about what he was doing as he worked, encouraging me to inspect what he had done a few times during the job. He also informed me of what he encountered along the way. In this case, some electrical work he had planned for did not need to be done, and he let me know and even knocked $50 off the price of the work. This is integrity. Joe finished up the job the next morning with some trim work and touch up paint. When I asked to see the paint can he used so I could match the paint, he offered to let me keep the rest of the can. It's little things like this that make a big difference. Overall, Joe did a great job. The finished work is neat and functional, and he otherwise left my house the way he found it. The quality of his work, along with his punctuality, responsiveness, and honesty will ensure that I contact him again the next time I need work done around the house.

Joe Ferry arrived as promised, took his time to insure a quality repair and was neat and clean. Joe explained everything he was doing so there were no misunderstandings. He did his best to match the paint (textured ceiling) on the new sheetrock to the existing. His price was very fair. I would not hesitate to use Joe Ferry again and definitely would recommend him.

Showed up at the appointed time. He took the handrail with him -- cut it to size; and stained it. He came back later and installed it. Very professional job. He did the job on time and the workmanship was excellent. I would recommend Joe Ferry and I would definitely use him again.
