J R Scapes

We LOVE our new backyard patio and concrete walkway. I wish I could post pics here of the before and after pictures of the work James (J R Scapes) did. First of all, I called James at 10am on a Saturday morning and within 2 hours he was at my home and answered every question (we had alot of them), gave his suggestions, showed us the patio block colors & styles (Techo Bloc) and spent about 1 1/2 hrs. talking with us and gave us a specific dollar breakdown of all the material that would be used. And James saw that we had 2 smaller dogs and suggested that when we were replacing our landscaping rocks/stones, that we should get a smaller, more rounded rocks/stone so it would be easier for our dogs to walk on. Well, it took me and my husband 5 minutes to discuss that James/J R Scapes was "our guy". We did get a quote from another contractor, who was cheaper. But that contractor spent about 15 min. at the house and did not go in depth about the product or what he would specifically be doing. We were not impressed on his knowledge of his product or what he proposed for the project. But after meeting with James and all the time he spent with us for our projects, we felt at ease and more confident on hiring him. Within 2 weeks our project started and James was working along with his crew...Carl, Phil & Greg. I have to say, these gentlemen were polite, extremely hardworking and took pride in their work, ensuring my projects were nothing less than perfect and beautiful. We just LOVE, LOVE our new backyard and I am showing off the before and after pictures of my patio and front walkway like a mom showing off pics of her kids! LOL. Throughout the whole process, James was there assisting his crew and they were on time each day, worked the entire day and were simply nice, hard working guys. All these gentlemen were "pros" and knew exactly what to do to get the job done professionally. And they didn't mine me asking questions either - LOL. I really had no idea how much I could love the completed projects and I would certainly hire J R Scapes without any hesitation. He will be our "go to guy" for any landscaping or hardscaping needs in the future.

Wonderful! I would never use anybody else. He was very professional, clean, and his pricing was excellent, and does not overcharge me.

They did a fantastic job. It cost me $55 per lawn service. Jim was an awesome guy. He worked with us extremely closely. He rectified the problems. He was always open to answer questions. He always gave us recommendations. I would recommend him. My experience with Jim was well and it was beyond lawn service.

I have been using them since 2006 and never let down. I have no used them for hardscaping or pavers but have seen the work and its top notch.

Jim gave my family a fair estimate for hardscapes (stone pavers and walls) last year and finished the work Fall 2019. We were able to even enjoy sometime around the fire pit before winter set in! Honesty and integrity are key and you definitely get that with JR Scapes. Don’t always jump for the cheapest guy on the block, quality the first time is worth, trust me I’ve tried both!
