Flansburg Construction just renovated our second floor hall bathroom and we could not be happier with the results! When setting out on this journey, we received three contractor estimates. Although they were all comparable in price, Dan's group was by far the most responsive and the most helpful. What set Flansburg Construction apart from the others initially was the fact they provide a designer. Bernadette was invaluable in the process. Once she had an idea of our style, she made product selection easy by narrowing down options for us and all the while maintaining our budget. Also, where other contractors required that we order and be responsible for all materials, Flansburg took responsibility for all, which was such a relief! Once construction was underway, everything went more smoothly than we could have expected. The workmanship exceeded our expectations and our project manager provided progress updates daily, in addition to letting us know what to expect the following day(s). He was also very responsive to us and was patient when explaining the work. Everyone associated with the project was kind, courteous and extremely neat. We highly recommend Flansburg Construction for any renovation needs and will call upon them again ourselves with any additional projects we may have in future.

Dan and his team help us built our dream basement. They did a fantastic job. Dan is very professional and holds a very high standard of his team’s work. He makes sure his team delivers the best quality. He is quick and responsive to keep an open communication to us. He provides options for us to choose from and give good advices. If you have come across this profile you need not look any further. Dan is the consummate contractor of your dreams. When people ask me how my contractor was for my full house renovation and I respond with "he was incredible" they can't believe it. But it is true. Dan and his team completed a full house renovation for me and my family in the summer of 2019. The project was detailed, multifaceted (structural beam replacement, all new electrical, plumbing, new master bath, brand new kitchen, HVAC, half bath and first floor, fireplace, attic, full house painting, etc.). He completed this on time, yes ON TIME because he planned it out and executed it. He shared his gantt chart so we could see how all the pieces fit and stayed true to the plan. His communication was great, he was a great thought partner and expert to accomplish the finish we wanted, brought in a designer for the kitchen layout and master bath, a structural engineer for the beam, etc. and was in touch with us to keep us on track! With additions and changes we still completed the project in just over 3 months. He always had someone working and made sure all of the orders were in place so no delays we caused. This was a 1,600sq foot home. He was not only reasonable with his fee, we got his expertise, good nature, and quality work. WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!

Everything went great. From beginning to end, everyone involved was professional and really courteous. Pricing was very fair. They are very responsive and communicative. I was so happy with their work that I recommended them to a neighbor, who also decided to go with them.

They worked with us every step of the way, from materials and fixture selections, to describing the exact work to be performed, full transparency on estimates, and all the way to the finishing touches. A small leak occurred a few days afterward, and they came the very same day to fix it with new sheet rock and paint. Overall, an excellent team to work with, and they would be my first choice for any future construction work I need.

They did a great! job Jim and John, the two carpenters who did the work, did a better job than I knew to ask for. When I saw how well they were going about the work, my strategy was to stay out of their way, because their experience and craftsmanship were obvious. Wonderful work! We had architect drawings when we brought Dan on to finish our basement. He took care of the project management and all the people he brought in were professional and did great work. We had a tiny basement with low ceilings and very old electrical - it was a challenging project but they did a great job! I had a a "modern industrial" vision which Dan completely understood. He did some amazing woodwork - closets, accent walls and they made the ceilings as high as they could. We are getting so many rave reviews about the new space. We managed to get a laundry room, media room, craft space, reading nook and under stair desk. We never thought our basement would be such a significant area of our home! Highly recommend!

Second major project with Flansburg Construction! Can't say enough good things about Dan and his team. Dan is constantly communicating what needs to be done and when. He ALWAYS responds to your questions and needs!! We also really appreciate how accommodating and flexible he is with our constant changes and new requests. Owners don't realize until things come up or in the middle of the construction. His team also fixed a lingering plumbing issue without a hitch! I also can't say enough about the crew's cleanliness for a major project. They always laid down tarps and cleaned up every day. They even went the above and beyond with installing this cool tarp with a zipper entrance to the lower level where the family was confined to during the project AND the best thing was this commercial dust filter that really reduced the dust! We really appreciated that since our son has allergy/dust induced asthma. The new kitchen and dining room came out fantastic that we will be loving for many years to come. Even after 4 months after the project, there are times I still just stand and admire the new kitchen!! I don't know what more I can say to recommend Flansburg Construction. If you want an honest, fair, and trustworthy contractor that does it the right way and produces high quality work, then Flansburg Construction is it!! I have recommended Dan to all my friends and still have some more projects coming up!!

Dan and his team was absolutely great! His team arrived on time and always cleaned up afterwards which is a big plus with young children in the house and trying live through construction. Dan was constantly communicating with us about the project schedule. Dan was also great about accommodating changes and small little add-ons that we requested during the project. We really appreciated his flexibility on those requests! We also appreciated Dan's honesty, openness, and detailed proposal/invoice. Highly recommended and we hope to work with Dan and his team on the big kitchen reno and sunroom conversion project.

The original time for him to come out to my home had to be re-scheduled due to an injury I suffered minutes before he arrived so I appreciated him re-scheduling. He was able to come back out later that week to get an idea of what I wanted to do. However, a week later I called him to get the estimate but never heard back.

Flansburg Construction did a remarkable job in remodeling our galley kitchen and dining room. Owner Dan Flansburg was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and he and his team performed services of the highest quality. His fair estimate for the project was right on the mark, with a relatively minor adjustment for an unanticipated electrical issue. Dan was able to get the job done in about six weeks, carefully attending to detail. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the project and have recommended the company's services to others. We found Dan through Angie's List and we're glad we did.

Work went very well. Daniel a great job. Work was completed on schedule, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves every evening. Dan also noticed that most of the insulation was fine, saving us a few hundred dollars. We couldn't be happier with the end result. Will definitely use again.

Dan and his team did a great job- estimate was timely and professional and broken out by line item which I really appreciated after seeing some others. Dan didn't try to put the fear in me about the repairs given the age of the home (1870) as others did and did not try to pad the estimate with additional work that was not necessary. They were prompt and clean and stuck to the estimate as far as time and $. Most importantly - Dan is down to earth and and a straight shooter- which I really appreciated. Could highly recommend and would/will use again.

Dan and the team are extremely professional. The tile work ended up ok to good but not great. There are a few tile cuts that could have been done more carefully but all in all ok. Also, the grout lines ended up bigger than you would expect for a shower.

Dan came out after I asked for an estimate to build bookcases around our fireplace. He was responsive, polite, punctual and professional and based on our meeting I would not hesitate to use him for future work.

Dan was great! Professional and always on time. He completely gutted and redid our porch as well as our closet. He even was extra helpful on little things such as when we took out the porch, he took it up on himself to add some insulation (at no cost) in order to make our house more comfortable (and trust me, it did). He always kept me in the loop and was genuinely a really nice guy and very professional. His staff was great as well. I have some other projects as well and would hire him in an instant.

Dan responded to my emails and calls in a timely manner. His pricing was fair. The quality of his work was excellent. His work crew was polite and very professional. The job was completed on time as promised. It was a good experience and I would use this company again.

Dan and John did a wonderful on my 2nd floor hall bathroom remodel. I felt Dan was honest and fair with his estimate--I had 2 other contractors bit for the job--Dan was the best fit for me. The project was to remove and dispose existing vanity, flooring, light. Supply and install Porcelain Mosaic file and prep sub-floor. Supply and install vanity and sink. Supply and install faucet. Supply and install light fixture, and install brushed nickel towel bar and toilet tissue holder. Paint walls and ceiling. He and John are both skilled, accommodating, and true craftsmen. They keep the work area clean and neat during the project. The job started on time and finished ahead of schedule. I am very pleased with my new bathroom and I would recommend Flansburg Construction to any of my friends or neighbors.

The contractor was extremely responsive to our short turnaround needs. He met with us on short notice, provided the service we needed and then gave us the information we needed in a very short time to satisfy the quick timeframe we were working under.

Everything went smoothly. When there were problems identified we resolved them quickly. He was able to do some additional work that was needed in the home outside of the insurance damage, replacing some windows and other small jobs that had built up since the home was purchased.
