Description of Work: Finished our basement. Constructed built in shelves and entertainment center. It's so beautiful! We are constantly getting compliments not just on the design but the quality of workmanship. Dan is a consummate professional who will accept nothing less than perfect.  + 1 moreFlansburg Construction gave an estimate that was very acceptable. Dan had an extremely professional manner. He communicated very well, listened to my questions, understood what I was asking and seemed very knowledgeable. I didn't want anything fancy and Dan was very agreeable to doing exactly what I wanted, a simple but professional job. Dan was able to fit t the job in in a few weeks, for all these reasons, so I chose him to do the job. He came early in the morning on the day he stated he would, and finished in two or three days--it was very quickly done and while I was at work. It was very cold outside, nonetheless, he and his assistant set up their saws and equipment outside and worked cheerfully and very efficiently. The estimate was very detailed with labor and materials and Dan stuck to it. I paid exactly what he stated I would. He is quite knowledgeable, and has a very friendly, professional manner. He was supportive of my project (I had purchased a fixer upper) and offered friendly helpful advice. The job was exactly what I wanted and it looks extremely nice. The workmanship is excellent.I will definitely hire Dan again.
Description of Work: Flansburg Construction put new wooden widow sills and wooden molding around the windows. I had replaced the windows with larger windows, and the old sills and molding had been removed.

He went out of his way to help when the plumber needed the countertop removed for the dishwasher install, coming back to help us. We were very impressed with the quality of his work, and will definitely consider him for future carpentry work.

 + 5 moreDan is very professional, on-time and honest about costs and time the project will take. He is a perfectionist and does beautiful work. Dan also cleans up after his projects daily. We've moved since this work was done and will be hiring him this summer (2013) to refinish our basement.
Description of Work: Dan put in a French drain in our basement, waterproofed the walls, finished off our basement and built a storage closet that fit all of my needs. We also had Dan turn our dining room in to an office. He put in French doors, chair rail and crown molding. The room was beautiful!

Description of Work: Flansburg Construction built a dormer on my house. Then he put new gutters on. He also built a french drain in my basement. I found Dan to be honest, fair, and an excellent craftsman. I'll use him over and over again in the future.
