CWC Masonry – Patio: Very Disappointed. I hired CWC Masonry (based on a referral), in April, 2017 to install a sidewalk. They did a great job and I was very happy with the work. Because of that experience I called them again about replacing and installing a new brick-paver patio. This was last summer. On Monday, June 11th, 2018, I called the office and left a voice mail with my name, address, identified myself as a repeat customer and gave details of the job I wanted them to do. On Monday, June 18th, 2019, I called them again since I had not received a call back. On June 19th I got a call from the office advising me that Carl was on his way to my house to do an estimate but the transmission on his truck broke and he cannot make it. I said ok, but I had no idea he was coming out in the first place and I was not even home at the time to talk in person about the job. I was told they would call me after they fix the transmission to schedule an appointment. I called again on July 6th and spoke with Steve. I explained the job I wanted them to quote and that Carl was supposed to come out but his transmission had failed. Steve seemed surprised I wanted CWC Masonry to do the work and said that I should just get the people who installed the patio to fix it. I explained that the patio was installed 20 years ago. Steve said they would be out to my house tomorrow (Saturday, July 7th, 2018) between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Sadly no one ever showed-up for the appointment. I guess their story about the failed transmission on the way to my house (without even letting me know they were coming) was their way of saying they don’t want the work. What a disappointment.
