After having our foundation stabilized there were cracks in the walls and doors out of alignment not to mention our two story deck needed to be fixed. The owner came out for an estimate and assured me this could be completed by Memorial Day (this was in early March). I was initially so excited by his interest in our job that I quickly expanded it to include upgrading our HVAC to forced air w/ AC. Rather than send his team, he used a number of different subcontractors who would show up for half a day. The initial work (fixing walls and doors, replacing windows) was completed by Memorial Day, but I was told the "engineering work " for the pilings needed for the 2 story deck was going to take longer...I had no idea that meant 1 year. I persisted, but again it was clear Mr. B lost interest in my job, I had to get my own engineering work done. When it came time to build the deck, Mr B insisted he'd personally supervise. What that translated into was he sought the lowest bid for his subs. Luckily, we spoke with the sub whom we knew he passed on. What we learned was he was instructing the guy to do a substandard job and the contractor would NOT do it. We fired Bucchino and directly hired the sub, who went on to do a marvelous job. The total value of our project was $75,000 but Bucchino treated us like dirt. Use him if you want a vastly inferior product for a result.

I called for an estimate to have my basement refinished. The call back was not timely. Also, the first appointment with the owner was a no call, no show. The evening of the rescheduled appointment, I received a call that the owner was running about an hour late. When he finally arrived, instead of coming right in to get started, he took time to talk to someone he recognized working in the neighborhood. He came into the house, obviously unprepared to do anything other than look at the basement as he was dressed nicely and had no paper, measuring devices, or pens with him.The only thing he brought was a cup of coffee and his cell phone, which rang and was answered during our consult. We spent about 20 minutes talking about the basement. He looked at my heating unit and asked if I was interested in having central AC installed---not at all why I had asked him to come. Since he took no measurements and drew no sketch of the basement. I allowed him to photograph a sketch provided by another company during their estimate to work from. I was told he would work on the estimate later than night and get back to me soon. That was the last I heard from him. Never received a call or a written or verbal estimate. Needless to say, I did not reach out to him further. I've heard good things about the company but based on this experience, I will not call them again. I got the impression that they do a lot of big professional jobs and weren't really that interested in residential jobs.
