Description of Work: Liquid Designz,located in Bergen County NJ, is a company with a Unique approach to pond/waterfall/fountain building. Liquid Designz is a CAC (Certified Aquascape Contractor). Aquascape is a company that is an innovator in their field and most reputable Waterscape contractor in the Continental United States. Having a Certified Contractor doing this kind of work is much different than hiring your local landscape company to put in a pond or waterfall, or a rainwater harvesting system. This type of precision work should only be performed by a Contractor that has a history of building these types of water features,as no two features will ever look or run the same way. The project consisted of building a multi terraced waterfall which incorporated a Koi Pond in it as well. When it was completed the feature was close to 170 feet long and had 9 or 10 separate waterfalls as well as a BlueStone Water Wall. The initial stage of the project was to excavate the area where the pond and resevoir where to be built. Also, staging of the materials (Boulders,river stone,liner,backfill etc..) was also key. The project took several weeks,unfortunately we had to deal with some inclement weather, but otherwise, it went off without a hitch. Once the feature itself was complete, then came time for some finishing touches. High powered, yet low voltage, LED lighting was installed, to help capture the beauty of the waterfalls and the pond at night. We also had a land bridge incorporated into the feature, so it would be easy to navigate. The water feature not only looks spectacular, but also helped with run-off and drainage issues we had in our backyard.
