Description of Work: after I purchased an advertised service and called to make an appt., the service informed me they no longer honored the Angie's List Special but would come and give me an estimate for work independent of AL. That estimate was $350 above the advertised special. So now I am stuck with a credit and trying to find someplace to use it.

They are local, from me they are probably 2 to 3 miles. They just came and looked at what I wanted cut down, that was a pouring rainy day and I live near the river and it was just mosquitoes. They were within whatever the time they said. They were professional.

From the beginning this job went very smoothly. James gave me a very reasonable quote for for removing 2 downed maples and a hickory. He was to remove the trees but leave the stumps since they would not be visible in the underbrush. He did so with no fuss or mess. I would definitely use his services again.

These trees were about 40 feet high and were leaning towards the house. We have used Orrs Tree service for over 20 years since we bought our home and they are well versed on tree care and removal - they are prompt and are clean. They are our first choice for large and small jobs.
Description of Work: We had 2 maples trees near the house removed.

We called rep
Description of Work: An estimate was given and accepted for tree trimming services in October 2011. A date was scheduled, then rescheduled for a week later at Orr's request. During that week, we suffered severe tree damage from the October snowstorm. We left a voice message that the scope of the service had changed from tree pruning to tree removal and asked if he was still coming on the new date scheduled. We left daily voice messages - no call back. He did not show up on the scheduled date. Meanwhile tree limbs were on the front lawn and leaning against the front of our house. Two other trees had fallen at the back and side of the house. At one point we spoke with a woman from his office who assured us he would call. He never did. We hired another contractor.
