We got 2 systems cleaned and the entire process was excellent. They were punctual and very professional methodically going through the house and taking care of the vents.

I highly recommend NJ Air Quality for cleaning any type of household vent. Today, the technicians cleaned 3 dryer vents at 3 household locations for myself and 2 of my children. The technicians were very professional and ensured that the vents were clean and clear of any lint or other deposits. They arrived at my house first and arrived on time. After cleaning my vents they proceeded to 2 other homes and professionally cleaned their dryer vents. They also recommended on what to look for in the future in order to determine whether their was blockage in the vents. There price was extremely reasonable. Cost of service listed is per household vent. I intend to use them in the future.

Provider came on time, but didn't remove shoes or wear shoe covers.

First, they had to reschedule and then they moved up my appointment. Generally, this doesn't bother me, but it was a bit frustrating because I had to take a vacation day off at work to accommodate their truck breaking down and having to move my appointment. I guess I expect them to give me a discount on the price or something, but nothing was offered. We also ran into an issue where their equipment blew out a fuse in my house, but I don't mark them down for this. They brought out someone (not sure if this person was licensed) to look at the damage they caused. While waiting for the guy to come out to fix the fuse issue, the two NJ Air Quality employees used a different power outlet and "cleaned" the air ducts. I put quotes because I didn't really notice any difference. Maybe my ducts were just not very dirty. Here is where my rating comes into play. After cleaning the ducts, the NJ Air Quality employees forgot to plug back in my chest freezer. I don't completely blame them because I should have followed up to make sure, but they didn't and after 3 days we realized a whole chest freezer full of food was bad due to it not being plugged in. Additionally, holy cow, these guys TRASH my house. It was impressive how much dirt, snow, and mud they tracked throughout the house. I was shaking my head the whole time, but I was more worried about how their machine blew out the fuse of my furnace that I didn't even think about how dirty the house was until after they left. Once everything was back up and running, I spent 3 hours recleaning (I had just cleaned the house) my house to get it ready for guests. Overall, I appreciate them not trying to leave while my furnace fuse was blown. I would have thrown a fit if they did try that. They stuck out the problem and didn't leave until after a solution was finished. I'm just upset that I don't have a clue what I actually paid for (cost of the service plus I had to take a vacation day from work due to them having to reschedule) and after they left I had a mess to clean up. I wish these guys would have at least cleaned up after themselves, but it is what it is.

Went well. They were honest and said one system didn’t need cleaning so they weren’t going to do that one and of course didn’t charge for it.

It went well, It just took a little while to get them come out because they were busy about the deal. But for the outcome of the service, it was good.

Never showed and never called on 2 separate occasions

Justin inspected the system and determined that the ductwork did not need to be cleaned. We discussed that my son has allergy induced asthma, and he made some suggestions on things we could do to help minimize the impact.

I have purchased the new house and would like to make sure that I have clean duct system. To make sure that I am hiring the best in the business, I have read the reviews of multiple service providers and decided to hire NJ Air Quality based on their 5-star review on the Angie's list. I have called them to book an appointment and Justin has asked a various question to make sure that he is giving me the correct price and book an appointment after 2 weeks. On the appointment day, he has called me 30 min before to make sure that I am available at home and arrived on time. Very Punctual. He has inspected both systems located on the Attic and also check multiple ducts and explained to me that systems and ducts are spotless and doesn't require any cleaning. He spent about 30 min to inspect everything and explained me the stuff which I need to take care of. Even though he has spent about 30 min in my house to inspect everything, he hasn't charged for his inspection fee. I am really impressed by his service and honesty. I will definitely hire them in the future.

Guys were very professional. Actually purchased vent cleaning through an Angies List deal but determined that it would be best to wait for the larger cleaning and refund for the deal. Opted for just the dryer. The honesty and is always appreciated.
