I have a three story house and was explicitly asked that all roofs be reviewed. The quote (32 words) and the pictures only referenced the second floor roofs that cover porches. When I phoned to ask if that was it, they said yes. I probed and said that I knew that the most important work was on the major roofs over the house itself. She said that she would check and get back to me and I never heard back. I can only guess that the estimator didn't go up to the actual house roof at all. I wouldn't have minded if they just said they couldn't get up there or said the work was too complex, but if I had not got several other quotes and always requested pictures, I would not have known what really needed to be done. The other quotes came back quite consistent.

Service provider was prompt and thorough, clean and pleasant, which is pretty much exactly what I need. Cost was more than reasonable. We will use them again.

They were excellent and did everything they said they were going to do including waterproofing my chimney and cleaning up after themselves. Their pricing was also very fair.

They arrived at scheduled time for estimate, started work when scheduled (were delayed in finishing due to unavailability of limestone for the step but were able to get it within 2 days) and fished on 2nd day. Very thorough in clean up when finished and removal of all debris. I would definitely recommend A Plus roofing& home service and have plans to have further work done with them. Again very reliable

It went very well. They were on time every time they promised they would come. They had a bit of a problem getting materials. They were delayed 2 days and said they'd be out Tuesday or Wednesday, today is Wednesday, they came out and got everything finished.

It went great. From the time Sabino came and gave me the estimate, which was fantastic, to Eric and his crew coming to do the work there were no problems. Rain delayed the start date by four days but that was fine. The job was done in the time frame discussed, there were no hidden fees. Eric even patched an area at the bottom on my steps which has been a constant problem, just because he thought it needed to be done. I can't says enough about this company. Even Nancy, who handles the calls back and forth, office to client to work crew was wonderful to speak to and deal with. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them for future projects around my home.

They were on time and the only roofing company that called me back. They did an excellent job! I would highly recommend their services to others. They were also very good about cleaning up afterwards.

They were excellent. Very time efficient, professional, respectable, punctual, and most importantly the quality of work especially cleaning up after themselves was fantastic. Felix and his crew did an excellent job. I most definitely look forward to using them again soon in the near future to continue to maintain the gutters on the house.

What didn't they do is the real question.. They went above and beyond by adding extra downspouts where I wanted them and fixing extra cracks in the chimney and air vents in the roof. The area was cleaned up well and I didn't find any nails left over from the old gutter system. Use these guys is all I have to say and you won't be disappointed!

Felix who was the supervisor was very professional and explained exactly what needed to be done and why. All the workers were professional and neat (considering this was an extremely messy job). Workers showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves. Was very satisfied with the wor on the chimney. Had also used this company before to clean the gutters on the house - again was very happy with the work.

Sabino and his crew were great. We actually hired this company to do the work based on a non-Angie's list reference from our cousin. The work was done expeditiously, everything was cleaned up and actually was more clean that it was before! They went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. We subsequently hired them to clean the gutters on two houses, install a chimney cap on one. the price was great and we would absolutely hire them again.

I called A Plus Roofing after my flat roof started to badly leak into my bedroom closet during the last major winter storm we had in February 2014. I called A Plus on a Friday and was able to make an appointment for the next day. Felix came that afternoon to give me an estimate. He was professional and answered all of my questions while providing me with a written estimate. I decided to go with A Plus to complete the repairs to my roof and I was very happy with the result. First, A Plus came out to remove all the ice and snow from my roof (since it was just sitting on top of the roof, I was afraid it would cause more leaking and damage) and covered the roof securely with a tarp. Then, the crew came back soon after to complete the repairs to my roof by re-sealing all the seams and edges (which were believed to be cracked and this was the reason the water was coming into my home) with roofing tar and membrane. Everyone at A Plus was helpful and easy to reach while willing to work out many details with us during the repair process. Since the roofing company that re-did my flat roof a few years ago went out of business, I will be using A Plus from now on if I should need any more roofing repairs.

The job went very well. Sabino and his crew were very professional. the repair in the attic looks great and the roof is beautiful. they were careful with my house and did a nice cleanup.

I called today and wanted my chimney cleaned so I could use it for Thanksgiving. The woman who I spoke to at the company was so genuine and kind. She sent Felix out immediately to give me an estimate. He came to our home and was so genuine and honest. He knew what he was talking about. We felt confident to let him do repairs and clean our chimney. We were very impressed with his knowledge; his sincerity and would definitely use this company again. We highly recommend this company. They are very fair and very professional.

Felix, the roof guy took care from start till end. Six people came and finished the job in one day which was pretty awesome. They did try to get us into spending another $2000 for updating chimney stuff but we asked another construction guy and he said it’s not needed.

Felix and his team passed with flying colors! Their quote was very competitive, we quoted 3 Angie?s List Award winners, and he exceeded our expectations. They answered phone calls in a timely manner, showed up for their appointments on time and ready to work and completed the roofing job on time. He even uncovered some chimney work that needed to be addressed and that we suspected and took care of it right away. The roof looks great, even my in laws who can be nitpickers were impressed. My sister-in-law complimented us on ?how good the roof looks coming down the street!? The office was great, checking in to make sure we are happy with the service while it was still being installed and followed up the next day to see if we needed anything else done? Yes, they will be cleaning our new gutters, also just installed, later this fall saving us 33% on the service from the prior supplier. Thanks Felix, thanks everyone.

Very happy with the work done. Showed up the same day (when it was raining) to see the leaking, gave a quote and then showed up the next morning to do the work. Felix knew exactly what to do and took care of it promptly. They even satisfied my pet peeve of cleaning up the mess after.

Those guys did a good job. He did what he said he would do. He showed up. There was no drama. Everything was fine.

We had been back and forth with several contractors and people either never showed or gave really high quotes. A Plus Roofing answered right away and came the next day for a free estimate while standing in the rain. They gave an estimate that was HALF the amount that a previous contractor gave. We decided to go with them and they showed up exactly on time. They got the job done in less time then they had said and were extremely professional. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again!

We had a leak in our kitchen, and rather than resealing the flat roof, we decided it probably needed to be replaced. Castro (one of the owners) came to the house to give my husband an estimate; he was punctual and thorough. He also recommended replacing the roof, down to and including the decking. It was anticipated to be a one-day job, and the cost was to be $2600. Once the roof was opened up, however, we discovered that there had been water entering the roof for years. Not only was there damage to the main beams, we discovered that these beams were spaced at 36 inches apart, rather than the standard 18 inches. While he gave us the option of going ahead with our original plan, Castro strongly recommended that we expand the scope of the project. As we plan to stay in this home, we agreed. In addition to the original job, the workers installed a new beam between each existing one, and sistered a new beam on either side of every old one. They also installed all new insulation, and removed a faux wall that had extensive water damage. The job was completed in two days instead of one due to the change of plans. The owners and their employees were very accommodating and worked to get things completed in the two days. The evening they finished, we discovered our bathroom sink was completely clogged. After snaking it, we discovered the problem was somewhere back in the wall and we weren't able to reach it. It seemed an odd coincidence at first, but then we found documentation showing that the sink had been cleaned out by the previous owners via the roof vent. As there seemed to be a connection between the new bathroom roof and the clog, I called the A Plus's office. The woman I spoke to took my information and called me back after speaking with the owner. While they weren't able to fix the problem for us, they said that if a plumber found the roof work to be the cause, they would pay the bill. When the plumber we hired did find that the clog was caused by wood and shingle debris, I called the roofers back to offer to send them a copy of the bill, and they said they'd write us a check right away, no proof needed. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish! We also discovered (a few days after the job when it rained) that one of the gutters they replaced is leaking in a way it wasn't before. With no hesitation or problems, the woman in the office (MaryAnn--she was wonderful!) set up a visit for this coming Friday to fix the problem. Everything about dealing with this company was a pleasure from the start. The office staff who answered our calls were pleasant and professional. Castro was punctual and thorough when he arrived for the estimate. The men in the work crew were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and were extremely hardworking. I would happily hire them again, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Felix is very thorough. He and his crew repaired the roof in front of the house. Then a couple of days later in rained and leaked again. He came back and fixed it. While on the roof he noticed that the chimney was loose and the bricks were missing. Taking it down there was damage much further down and he gave us another estimate. They even worked in the rain. Very professional and courteous workers. Very happy with the chimney and the roof. I will hire them again when needed.

I had an excellent and good experience with them. They were very honest in giving estimates on potential jobs. They showed up on time and came when they said they would. They were clean and their service is worth using.
