Description of Work: Relined furnace chimney and replaced piping to water heater. Excellent work, he also checked chimney from wood burning stove. He told me it was fine. If he was anything but an upstanding honest guy, he could have charged me for chimney cleaning. I would highly recommend and use him again if needed.

 + -1 moreAfter being recommended by my home inspector, I called and left a message for them to come and look at my chimney before I lit a fire over Christmas. They never called me back. I lit the fire and fortunately had no problems.
Description of Work: No service was provided.

 + -1 moreLou was very nice the deal with and was very familiar with the developer of the neighborhood I just moved into. The home inspector recommended we get a Level 2 inspection (which they always do), which is when a chimney company takes a video of the inside of your chimney to see if there's any defects. This can cost a couple hundred bucks (I think) and Lou actually told us we don't need to get it done. He then made the necessary repairs for half of what the other company had quoted me.
Description of Work: Lou came out to the house to follow up on another chimney company's recommendations - I didn't feel comfortbale with the estimate I got from the 1st company so I decided to call this company - I'm new to the neighborhood and found out after the 1st company came out that all my neighbors use Toms River Chimney. He had to patch a couple spots at the base of the chimey and a spot at the top of the chimey on the roof.
