Steve Scillieri Plumbing & Heating

Called Steve about 8:00 in the morning. Made appointment for 10:00AM. He showed up on time, went straight to work. Had the problem figured out in about 10 minutes, did the repair in about an hour. He had to do some sheet rock cutting, which can be very messy. He put down a blanket and did not leave a speck of sheetrock dust or debris. He did a thorough job of examining our 30+ year old boiler and related plumbing and bled the system. He explained everything and pointed out two improvements that would help the system function more efficiently or make it easier to maintain. Again, he was meticulously neat. As an indication of how honest and straightforward he is, Instead of just selling us expensive work for his own profit, he told us to take a different approach to one of our plans to extend heat to another part of our house. I highly recommend this company without reservation and will definitely call him again for his services.

He didn't return my phone call for a week. I called him back and asked that if he didn't want the job to let me know. He did then return my call and didn't want the work.

Steve is a real craftsman. Since my boiler is close to my study, I needed a quiet boiler. The internet did not help very much. Steve recommended one that more than met my expectations. He completed the work professionally and correctly. The project passed the township inspection with flying colors. I recommend his work and will hire him, if I need a plumber.

Once we agreed on a date, Steve kept the appointment and supplied all of the materials. This saved me the trouble of trying to select appropriate fixtures. As happens with plumbing work, unexpected repairs are sometimes needed--the sink basin. Steve was able to contact a local plumbing supply outfit and we had the new sink basin within the hour. Steve also put down cloths to minimize dirt and grime and cleaned up after the project. Professional job.

Very well, Mr. Scillieri came over the day I contacted him within hours and it was not an emergency call. He is professional and does excellent work.

Based on the work that Steve previously did on my master bathroom, I requested his service on my main/guest bathroom. Steve responded quickly to my request. I had purchased the new vanity and new toilet, and needed Steve's service to do the installation. He had to move pipes so that the vanity could be installed where I wanted it. He installed the vanity, vanity top and faucet, as well as a new toilet. As before, I was very pleased with Steve's professionalism and timeliness in doing the job, and love my new guest bathroom. Thank you Steve!

It went excellent. I called Steve late. It was about 10pm, right after I did the initial damage and shut my main water line off. I was able to set up an appointment for the next day. Steve was prompt and courteous. The price was excellent and the work looks great. It did not take him a lot of time to fix it either. I will be using him in the future for any plumbing work I need done and I plan to recommend him to my friends.

He said he show up and never did. Never called. I had to call him and told me to call back that he was busy. I called another plumber, they answered the phone very professionally (which by the way he doesn't) and said he be there within 4 hours. He was running late but keep me informed. Fixed the issue that same night. That is what great service is all about! Frankly, I am shocked this plumber has an A rating with Angie's list. This is the first time a had an A rated service provider do me wrong.

Excellent service! I have hired Steve on two occasions in the last several months. The first time was to cut down vanity pipes and seal them off when we removed a vanity from master bedroom. Steve returned my call promptly and arrived when he told me he would, and immediately did the work neatly and timely. The second occasion was for the master bathroom. Steve returned my call promptly and gave me an estimate for the job, and completed the work the following week. When scheduling the appointments, Steve kept me updated during the day on his estimated arrival times. He completed the work in a timely manner, very professional, neat, and I am extremely pleased with his work! I will be contacting Steve later this month to do the same type of work in my other bathroom. I highly recommend Steve Scillieri!

Contacted him through Angie's List. We spoke next day and he came over to look at somewhat unusual project that included adding a heat exchanger (I supplied) to the pool system. Over next couple of weeks I purchased some specialty fittings, then we got together for the installation. Took most of the day. Encountered some problems but came up with workarounds on the spot. At the end of the day the bill for parts and labor (we'd agreed to do in on time-and-materials basis because of uniqueness) was what it should have been. He knows his stuff, was responsive, and did a good job. Good to work with.

Wonderful response time and customer service! Based on the reviews that I read, I left Steve a message at 8:55 am this morning, and he called me back within minutes, and I explained the work that I needed. I had removed a vanity in the master bedroom, and plan to put carpet in the area. I needed to have the pipes cut down and capped off. Steve said he had availability to do the work this afternoon, and he'd call me back after lunch. He called at about 1:15 pm, and said he would be here between 3 and 4 pm, and he'd call when leaving the customer prior to me. At 2:50 pm he called to say he was on his way, and he arrived at about 3 pm. Steve explained what he would be doing, and completed the work in a very timely manner, and at a reasonable price. I appreciated the prompt response, and will be reaching out to Steve in the future for additional work, and will be referring him to friends. I would highly recommend Steve Scillieri Plumbing & Heating!

Steve started the job on time. The replacement of the valve required the main supply from the street be shut off. This became a problem when the a trickle of water continued to run through the pipe. Steve handled the problem and he was able to complete the repair. The work was done in a cramped space making the repair more difficult. I will use Steve for in the future.

Found Steve Scilleri on Angieslist and was the best decision ever. Saved my house. It was after 4 pm on a Friday before a major blizzard to hit NJ, and not only does Mr. Scilleri take my call, wait for me twice to drive down the shore, but stays to fixi the URGENT problem until the job was done in a freezing house no less. Evident why he is so highly recommended. Would not hesitate to call him again, and will to replace my boiler very soon.

Not too many details to tell. He responded to my email right away. We set up an appointment. He arrived on time. He was pleasant and professional. Oneof my toilets had been overflowing. He took a look at it and replaced the flapper. It works fine now. I had him take a look at my other toilet which was flushing but not properly. He replaced the flapper on that one too. So far they are both working fine. He charged $112 which I thought was reasonable.

First Steve responded to my initial Angies List email within minutes!! Said he would contact me the following Monday, which he did, I received a call from Steve at 0900 Monday morning. Showed right up at the house, reviewed the effort (not a huge job), gave me a price (which was very fair) and I agreed to it and he got right to work!!!!
