This customer hired us in 2011 to install a SunSetter awning. Member was so impressed with the product and our installation, she bought another awning the following year and hired us again to install the second unit. Months after the second installation, Member called frantic and upset letting us know the awning was not working properly and accused us of an improper installation. We explained the unit was working properly for months and that the issue was with the remote control and not the awning or the installation. Member was able to resolve the problem by calling the SunSetter 24 hour 1-800 number. They talked her through reprogramming the remote control over the phone and in just a few minutes, the awning was fixed 100%. There was never an issue with the product or installation. If children play with the remote control it will erase the programming and the awning will not work. I believe that was the case here. Member thank you for inviting us back for your second retractable awning. We apologoze for not being able to resolve your issue sooner.
