Pros General Contracting

I cannot say enough about Pro's General Contracting. Sal was wonderful to deal with. Very professional, did what he said he was going to do. Did an excellent job. There were no hidden costs. I highly recommend them. Looking forward to starting our next project with Pro's General Contracting.

They were good at first, but he never came back to finish. He was supposed to finish some work and he never came back. I had a little problem. He demanded payment for something that I had already paid for. He was very nasty. I didn't have a very good experience. At first, it was a good experience, but then, towards the latter end, the experience was horrible. The experience in the beginning was good, but then, towards the end it turned very sour. He was supposed to come back and do some work that was supposed to be fixed and he never came back. I didn't want to go through the aggravation. I just wound up having somebody else fix the problem that he was supposed to do. The experience wasn't good. It was $4000 for the insulation and another $4000 for sheetrocking and doors was $900 apiece. It was $8000 or $9000 worth of work and he never came back and then I was tired of calling and calling and calling and getting promises that he would come back. He never came back to finish because we had the house raised and we had inspectors out here. After each project is complete, you've got to pass the inspection. So, in a couple of areas where he was supposed to come back and fix, he never came back. It got very heated at one point where I had the documentation stating that on a particular job, he was supposed to do something and then I wound up paying him extra money to get done because we were on a time frame to get the inspection done here and they were failing the inspection. So my overall experience was not good with him. In the beginning it was okay, but then, towards the end, it turned very sour. He never came back to finish the job. So I had to go out and get somebody else to finish his work. Towards the end it got very heated. He was totally unprofessional towards the end. I wasn't going to pay him the extra money he wanted and he got very vocal. It got very embarrassing. It almost got violent to the point where he was very unprofessional and demanding the money. I tried to explain to him that it was part of the contract. He yelled and screamed and cursed. It was a bad experience, very unprofessional. The prices were high. I had to negotiate the price down, I had to get other prices from other contractors. He was high on price, but after a little bit of negotiation, he would come down on the price. The quality wasn't good at all. The doors that he put in, I had to call him back because there were gaps in the door. When you open the storm door, it's supposed to come back and close. It doesn't close. The responsiveness was pretty good.
