+ -1 morehonerelithe biggest problem i had with this indiv. was trying to get a receipt for the work done. approx. five min. after he left my house i realized he didn't give a receipt. i called him and he said he would call me that evening for my email address,he never called. i followed up with phone calls and emails. one week later he emailed me and said his wife would send me an email. it never came. another week and another email apologizing for the delay as he was having trouble with his email,but he was able to send an apology. the following week i received the receipt.THREE WEEKS LATER!

Pax did an excellent job maintaining and keeping the work site clean and safe took an organized approach to tackling a variety of different problems giving us multiple options along the way provided real time updates of work completed giving confidence of job integrity throughout the process. Pax home renovation makes sure the job is done the right way, there are no short cuts. No walls are closed up until an inspection is done either photographically or in person by the homeowner. Pax is always available to answer questions about work done and keeps a regular client base which they service for yearly maintenance work. Pax followed up on the condition of the house as soon as reasonably possible after both Hurricane and Irene, inspecting the property for damage both during and after the storms.
Description of Work: Gut and rebuild spring lake nj home including substantial structural repairs to jack and lift 2nd floor 6 inches in center to level. jobs performed were full kitchen remodel, structural repairs, full cedar shake siding, custom mahogany deck with outdoor showers, rewiring electric for entire house and updating faltering plumbing under crawl space. The house was fully remodeled with the phase 1 of the project requiring substantial structural repair of the crawlspace floor joist, jacking 2nd floor 6 inches on center and rebuilding all walls and headers which were improperly done. Phase 2 included a full custom kitchen which included raising ceiling 6 inches, supporting ceiling with steel girders, custom ceiling coffers with burlap wall paper, white washed panel ceiling and custom refrigerator cabinet replacing rotted sill plate along outside wall and rebuilding wall with new windows. Cabinet installation required true expertise given the uneven nature of the floor system. Phase 2 included custom mahogany deck with shower hand crafted in the PAX workshop. Given how well the initial renovation went, we are in the process of using PAX to install new 1st floor window and front door, remodeling a bathroom and installing central air. bottom line PAX can build you a entire new house but I would argue their specialty is in the remodel and restoration of shore community homes.
