This was my first experience hiring a painter so I had done research on pricing in the area. Nicholas quoted a more than fair price, he was prompt, and managed his time well. I would definitely recommend him to others and will be using his services again. Thanks Nick.

I am not sure how to rate my experience because it started off well. Nicholas came when scheduled and did an excellent job on tearing down paneling and painting the basement. The wood molding was done well. After he finished that part of the basement he appeared to get sloppy. For example, he took an outlet out of the wall and left it hanging. More importantly he moved the couch and scraped the vinyl flooring which took four boxes to redo his error for which I paid for. I expected to get back the money back that I paid as it was his fault. It totaled $168.00. He also left several boxes in the basement for which I had to take back for credit. They were very heavy and the store said it was the contractors job to take the unused portion back to the store. He looked very tired at the end of the job and complained of his back. When I ask him to return the money for the flooring he said he would be back to do other jobs. I wrote him over a month ago asking for the $168.00 to be returned as I had no other jobs for him. He really did not clean up well and moved a dehumidifier for which I had to have a company come in and check it for the loud noise. They said the contractor moved it and loosened up the screws. I also had to pay for them to come out. Nicholas has not returned my email, text or the money he owes me. I am very upset about him keeping the money he owes. I paid him nearly $10.000 in good faith and it seems he would want make good on the 168 dollars.

Nick will never understand how to treat a customer. He is not professional, and at many times did not act professionally. I am disappointed at my job. The tile had to be taken down and re done with different tile because it was not laying right. He is the professional and should have stopped right away noticing that it was NEVER going to lay correctly. So the job took 4 weeks instead of 1 week. My husband had to help him carry the vanity and the glass doors up the stairs. So what would have he have done if he was not around? The last straw was that he installed the handle for the shower on incorrectly and my stopper for my sink was broken, maybe it is because he was discarding the grout down the new sink. He had a plumber come over (who I was told was licensed) told me he was NOT licensed. Not sure if the electrician was either. I paid over $1,100 more for Nick than the other person on Home Advisor. Sadly I wish I choose the other guy. Also, his communication was terrible at times, and he would text me instead of calling me. His personality is dry and crude at times. I would NOT ever recommend him. Matter of fact he told me if I do not give him a 5 stars, do not give him anything at all. I told him that is not how it works. I paid him on time, and he could not even complete the job. My tile on the TOP is not straight, and looks stupid and unprofessional. I should not have accepted it, but he does not have the skills to fix it. If I could load pictures I would. I am wondering if Home Advisor just lets any contractors on their site. So disappointed. Probably going to stick to finding someone on my own or going through another, contractor hiring website.

We called a few people for estimates to replace all of our interior doors. Nick was the first one to come out and look the job over. We got 3 estimates and Nick's estimate was the best as he gave us a detailed description of all the work to be done, and his price was very fair. We also felt comfortable with Nick's warm personality during the time he evaluated the work to be done, and we were extremely pleased with his professionalism from start to finish. Nick arrived on time, he was very cordial, and he completed the job neatly and in a timely fashion. We are glad we chose Nick for this job and would easily contact him for future work needed around our house. I would not hesitate recommending Nick to others.

Nick did a great job replacing the kitchen sink and countertops plus the bathroom vanity and toilet. He was easy to work with and even picked up what I had ordered from Home Depot because I was out of town.
