Tough to reach, as phone was busy on a snowy, cold day Once i did, i received a prompt phone call & was able to schedule an appointment the next day. Mark (Drain & Sewer Masters Inc., division of JNJ) was on-time and did a thorough analysis. He checked with multiple Kohler sources & was able to obtain parts later that day. He picked up the call, when i did a status check & arrived for the pre-approved Overtime rate, to complete the work in the evening. Water has stopped running in the shower. Reduced NYC water bill. Found a reliable plumber. :-)

My furnace was making noise. I added some oil to the pump but it was still making noise. So I called JNJ. Mike came to my house and was very nice. He observed a cycle of the furnace and of course it did not make the sound. He said that it may have taken time for the oil to work. He pointed out some other area where I should add the oil. The only reason for the C on punctuality is they were supposed to be there at 3 but got delayed and did not come until 5. However, they did come the same day I called.

Horrible experience. Contracted with this company based on recommendation from Super and the fact that our Co-Ops building had an existing relationship with this company. But most importantly, this company has Green Plumbing certificate which was required by my Co-Ops building. On the first day, plumber did not show up as scheduled. When they did show up, did not bring the proper tools and had to borrow from my general contractor to break concrete walls. They blame my general contractor for not communicating with them. Removal of lead bender took 3 days. Plumber removed the old lead bend but the new lead bend he had on hand was not the right size. He then left for the day and did not come back untl 2 days later after the building Super and myself called persistently to have the lead bend replaced ASAP (had to cut a whole in the ceiling of our neighbor downstairs to access lead bend). Removed old pipes, bath drain, and new bath tub took a good 1 1/2 days. Did not have the proper tools to drill hard concrete. I had to hire a worker to help the plumber remove some hard concrete so he can wire the pipes. Came back to install pedestal was basin and Toto toilet. Wash basin was installed but still leak water. Installed toilet but water won't flush. Blame me for the toilet bowl defect. Later found out he forgot that he stuck paper inside the new lead bend. My wife inserted a hook with her hand into the lead bend up to her elbow joint to get out the stucked paper. Showbody(by Moen) installed incorrectly. When I turn on the shower, hot water comes first as I turn the nob counter-clockwise. Toto toilet tank wobbly and was not properly screwed. The base toilet was not properly screwed or caulked. The crevice between the wall and the wash basin was not caulked. The bottom of the wash basin was not caulked. The cover around the shower head pipe was not secured by plumber's puddy. I had to pay $$$ to my Super to rectify these incompletes. They delayed my renovation by at least a week! It's a joke. I would avoid this company like a plague. Would not touch it with a ten-foot pole. Buyer's beware!
Description of Work: Install new toilet at existing location and remove old (fixture to be supplied by owner) Install new shower body at existing location with (1) head and no diverter, any diverter will require additional labor and will increase contract price Replace existing branch lines back to the riser Install new shut-off valves Remove and replace lead bend Install new ball valves Install new sink at existing location and remove old (fixture to be supplied by owner) Install new bathtub and (1) tub spout at existing location and remove old (fixture supplied by owner) OP128 to be filed with DOB when job has been 100% completed

Unfortunately in business you can provide service that is above and beyond and the client will never be satisfied. I will take a moment of your time to fully explain this case to future and current clients. First, the member brought this case to the Better Business Bureau and LOST and the case was dismissed in less then (1) week. As per the Better Business Bureau this particular client's accusations were unfounded, unsupported and bordering on harassment of our company ethics and performance. I will go even a step further and refer our clients to the case number issued at the Better Business Bureau, Please reference case #: 9022598 for all details. Second, the member filed this case in an attempt to extort close to one thousand and seven hundred dollars from our company. Third, the member states in his write-up on Angie's List that he paid his super to make repairs on our work. I am very glad that he stated this in writing! This statement further supports his extortion attempt on our company because in his Better Business Bureau case he submitted false invoices from another plumbing company that I know now never visited the location for repairs for over seven hundred dollars. Fourth, our company has a longstanding relationship with the management company where the member lives and we have always provided our customers with excellent services. If we did not provide such a high level of quality services the management company would NOT have our company servicing apartments in several locations. Furthermore, the member states that we did not have proper tools to complete the job. This statement is 100% incorrect and in retrospect we not only performed our job we had to perform the duties of his general contractor who is obviously a family friend or a complete novice at the trade. When we arrived on site, his general contractor did NOT prepare the job site for plumbing. The concrete walls were not demolished and not properly prepared for the pipes that were required to be installed. Our team spent over (1) week performing the duties of his general contractor. The member should be questioning the bill submitted to him by his general contractor as they completed only 50% of their responsibilities on site. I may add that even though we performed extra work on site we did not charge extra for the work. This job was behind schedule from day (1) all due to the novice general contractor hired by the member. In conclusion, the member then had the audacity to attempt to extort an additional $1,000 dollars stating we did not file the OP128 in a timely fashion. As a professional courtesy to the management company and to this very difficult client our company performed a final inspection on the work completed and the job was closed. To any business owner who may come in contact with the member regarding business arrangements we advise to not sign ANY contracts and do not perform any work for this client.
