My first contact with Garden State Garage Doors was with Charlie via a phone callâ ¦ I had an intermittent issue with my garage door not closing. Charlie asked me a few questions and suggested a possible solution for me to try regarding my â  safety eyes." (Those are the sensors to stop the door closing on someone.) Charlieâ  s first instinct was to help solve a problem for a new customer and he never pushed for a service call. As a matter of fact he said, "I don't want to charge you to come out if it's something you can easily fix." Fast forward a week or so... The solution worked for awhile but, sadly, the problem re-emerged. Inevitably, I needed a new garage door opener. Charlie gave me a more than competitive price so I made arrangements for it to be installed. Charlieâ  s partner, Steve, showed up on time to do the installation. Promptness matters! Steve was keenly knowledgable and good natured. The job was completed with industrious alacrity. The entire experience was terrific! These two guys have a huge amount of experience and do an exemplary job! Do yourself a favor and hire them!

Quick response to requests and installed accurately

The garage door came out great! We had other companies in the same price range but were doing the bare minimum. With garden state we had new tracks, new wheels, lifetime warranty,etc. Other companies didnâ t come close to what they did. Definitely recommend them to anyone!

The job ended when it was dark outside and the worker did not properly clean up. There were more than 20 screws and metal pieces left scattered in our garage and driveway. We were lucky to clean it up before we got a flat. This was the negative part of the project. Everything else was done beautifully.

The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early.

They came to evaluate the job to make sure all the parts they needed were there and gave us an appointment for installing a couple of days later. They were also very courteous and professional. Overall a great experience.
