G M CARPET CARE

Totally pleasant experience with professional and caring workers. They had to come 3 times to finish the job because we had to empty the rooms. They did a great job. No need to buy new carpeting. Will be calling them for touch ups and next furniture cleaning. Thanks guys!

This is the second time we've hired GM, but the first time we had them do our upholstery. We couldn't be happier. They are on time, and really do a wonderful job. When you find quality work you hold on to it. GM is definitely a keeper! I highly recommend them.

The company solicited us by by phone in April 2013 – we actually received two calls from two different women, telling us they were calling former customers to see if they needed carpet cleaning. The second caller was surprised when I told her that after the first call, I booked a carpet cleaning for April 30 for our rental home in New Jersey (we live in New York). I gave the first caller a credit card # (as requested) and the phone number of our property manager to coordinate GM's arrival time. Since we had already used the company in the Summer of 2012, though the multiple phone calls seemed chaotic to me, I felt confident they would do the cleaning as promised in advance of our tenant's arrival on May 11. Big mistake. We arrived to check the property on May 8 and discovered the work had not been done and the property manager had not heard from GM. I called GM at about 4:30 pm but there was no one there. The next morning, I called GM again and got Grace on the phone. I told her the story, but she claimed she had no record of any appointments with us anywhere on her books and she described their office as having "4 girls" working from many "sheets." In the next FIVE phone calls over the next TEN minutes from Grace, she agreed to get a team there immediately to do the work we needed done. But, then in her last phone call, she cited "company policy," and said they would have to have a check first because they did not take credit card numbers. I explained that we were back in New York, and that we would send a check immediately, but she stated the check had to be over-nighted to them BEFORE they would do the work because they did not take credit card numbers over the phone. Despite the fact that someone from GM took a credit card number from me several weeks before. Despite the fact that Grace admitted that it was their mistake. Despite the fact that we were previous customers who had paid for the previous services. Despite the fact that GM solicited us. The very idea of customer service, forget about repeat business, seems to be a joke at this company. Maybe that is why they were soliciting former customers to begin with. Now I know why former customers are, in fact, FORMER CUSTOMERS to begin with.

Confirmed the day before and called an hour before getting here. THEN called three days later to make sure I was happy. For a 100.00$ job!! GREAT

They are quick, efficient, do a nice job and their price is right. When they are done, everything is neat and clean. I have used them several times once in a year or 6 months once. I will use them in future.
