Don Woit Construction

Don and his worker Bill have been doing home upgrade/repair/maintenance projects for me ever since I bought my house last year. The list above is only a subset of the work they did for me over the past year. Much of this work was done between the time I bought the house, and the time we moved in. Bill is the one that does most of the work, including cable, electric, telephone, plumbing, home repairs, and light carpentry. Don, the owner, comes when Bill needs help and also at the end of most days. You can tell by the diverse list above, they can do many things. Both are easy to deal with, pleasant, and typically do the job right the first time. I only had to call them back for 3 issues - the outlets over the fireplace were connected to the light switch in the kitchen (which I thought was pretty funny), one of the water lines on the pool going to the heat pump came off, and some of the phone lines were wired to the wrong phone number. These they all came back for no charge and repaired. Everything else on the huge list above was done correctly the first time, and for a fair price. Once when I was "doing it myself" and trying to sweat a new 1" brass shutoff for the sprinkler system, I ran into a jam when I couldn't get the valve hot enough, I had all the water to the house shut off, and my wife was coming home to cook dinner. I called Don in a panic and he and Bill showed up an hour later and saved my a**. Any time I have major or even a bunch of minor home repair projects that I keep putting off, I can call Don and he can usually send Bill over either in the same week, or a week later to take care of my "punch list". I highly recommend these guys for any home repair needs, especially plumbing, cable TV, and electrical.
