I cannot say enough about Dennis Bosco and Carl's Fencing. Dennis and his team are meticulous, conscientious and they simply do beautiful work. I wouldn't want to use anyone else!

I must have heard this salesman state around 12 mentions of Carl's reputation and quality. For me as a salesman for 40 years, that was a definite over kill. I started resenting him saying it each time and I wanted him to realize my circumstances and he made to attempt to do so. Carl's was exactly double of ALL of the other estimates.

Excellent experience! Great sales guy (John R), great install crew! Job forman (Ricardo) was friendly, and accomodating. The crew was friendly and extremely hard working!! It looks great!!

Very cordial, punctual, professional. His price and availability didn’t work for me . I felt that my job was too small so I opted for a cheaper handyman . I would use in future for a larger project . Thanks!

This company has gone above and beyond what is expected from a company providing a service or purchases. They have very detailed estimates and contracts with no surprises ans the schedule was on point from three weeks out. The workers who showed up on site were very polite and asked my permission for any inconsistency in my land level to make sure I was happy. I used them for fence installation, but they are now on top of my list for all services they offer.

Working with David DelPizzo and Johnny we decided to replace the entire section of fence. Johnny explained that the new fence would not match the existing fence exactly but it would be close. We agreed on the price and proceeded with the project. This is where I put pressure on Johnny to get the work done ASAP so as to not hold up the hardscape contractor. Carl's came through for me again! Not only did they rearrange their schedule to make this happen, the quality of the fence, hinges and latch is so much better than the existing that now I am considering replacing the entire fence... I have been working with Carl's for two years now and they have not disappointed me once...

The quote was lower then a lot of other companies which is great. The quality of fence and the work performed was top notch. The one big issue that I had is that the installers left saw blades in my lawn behind. I found two of them but my 3 year old son found the 3rd. They should be using metal detectors to find any missing screws or blades left behind. They also left 2 piles of plastic saw dust behind. I wish that I didn't sign the inspection form before they completed the work but I had to leave my house prior to them finishing the install.

Fantastic...they were on time, professional, and cleaned up when they were done.

1) The salesperson provided an estimate within 30 minutes of hearing what needed to be done. 2) The install was scheduled and they showed up exactly when promised 3) Work was completed in a professional manner, older fence was removed, brush cut as needed for the new fencing installation, only what had to be was cut. 4) Workers cleaned up job site after their job was complete

Called Carls fencing on 6/4/2018 and spoke to John there. Told him exactly what we needed as we posted on angies list where he said to me no, we DO NOT DO REPAIRS, only build new decks or replace old ones. Told him thinks and hung up. Wast of time.

I called Carls Fence on a Friday about my repair and another home improvement (a balcony repair). They gave me an email to send photos, which I promptly did. I never heard back, so I resent the photos with a description of my job to their general customer service email. A few days later Liz emailed me back, saying that they couldn't get someone out to my house to even give me an estimate for 2 weeks, on May 2nd, and that she forwarded my photos of my balcony repair to the proper department. So I emailed back that May 2nd would be fine, but what time? I called twice to find out what time they would be coming. Liz did not return my call. I never heard from the home improvement department. So I guess my job was not big enough for them to consider. I wish they had just told me so in the first place. BTW- Express Fence gave me a quote the same day I emailed and came out to fix my fence 5 days later - on May 2nd.

I had an idea of what I wanted, Brian Koos spent over an hour working with me going over various designs and options. While their pricing was in the area of what i expected I did not sign the contract that day. Brian was not pushy at all and understood. I did get 2 other estimates that were much higher. When I was ready I called Brian and had changed the color of the decking. He revised the quote and I signed the contract. Work was complete 10 days later. There was a small qlitch, the workers made the deck the same size as the original porch but it was supposed to be larger to cover some imperfections in the patio. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until they finished. Marc Cerami had come by during and just as they finished and immediately remedied the situation. He offered to re-do the deck in the correct size or they could an add a board to the bottom step which would extend the deck. They came back the next day and added another board. It covered the imperfections and actually looked better than the original design. I would definately work with Carls again on another project.

Installation took one day! The workers were very professional.

The fencing was properly done, its just It took them time to complete the job because they did not showed up on time, They were 3 hours late. They Did not do what they said they would do. Also for the supervisor of the company, she was not easy to work with, when we were talking on the phone, she yells at me, crying I don't know why, looks like they are having personal problem within the company.

The quality of the work was excellent, and the deck looks beautiful. The workers were considerate, skilled and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Carl's and would certainly not hesitate to use them again.

Finally got approval and the install went beautifully. I would use them over and over again without hesitation.

they showed up within the time window that they said. They worked very quickly ripping out the old fence and installing the new fence. I had a handyman give me a quote to do the same job and he estimated it would take him 2 weeks +/-. This crew of 2 finished the job in 4 hours!!! It was amazing and the fence looks great. They were both very professional, courteous and new exactly what to do. I'm delighted with my new fence!!

I had put this project off way too long because I was dreading dealing with more shady, sketchy contractors. Living in a house that's 84 years old, I've had more than my share of those! I was so pleasantly surprised and happy when I found Carl's! Everyone was very professional, courteous and punctual, and the workmanship was impeccable. Craig was the project manage and very easy to work with. He understood my concerns about being without handrails on the newly installed masonry stairs for even one day and arranged to have his crew start their part the day after the stairs were completed. He even stopped by a couple of times while the mason was working to see how it was going. Once his crew got started, they worked very fast and efficiently and left my property spotless when they were done. I could have gone cheaper but I wouldn't have had the great experience or the beautiful front porch I got from Carl's.

The sales rep was very courteous and helped us with the deck design details. Because I had both fencing and decking work done, I was able to obtain a discount on the whole package, which was nice, and made Carl's the low bidder . The fence installers were very courteous and neat. They had to work around some adverse weather conditions (heavy rains), but finished the job in one day. The only issue was that the door closers on the deck did not work properly, and it took Carl's a couple weeks to get back to replace the closers. Overall, a nice job. The deck installers were very meticulous. I spent a lot of time watching them. They absolutely made sure everything was level. If it wasn't, they would rip out the boards and redo them. The finished product is outstanding. Everything was cleaned up by the installers before they left. We are very happy with both decks. There were some issues with the township inspections, but my township is known for being very particular and somewhat arbitrary. Carl's worked through all the issues.

The representative for the estimate called he was in the area a little earlier, I thanked him for calling and to come earlier is fine. He was polite and thorough. The estimate was several hundred below another estimate that I was given, I scheduled. The two installers also arrived on time if not a few minutes early, they were polite, I had to leave for work but felt confident that the would install a quality product. The railings are beautiful and they cleaned after their work, not one piece of railing scrap. Carl's fencing delivered more than expected. I will definitely be using Carl's fencing again. Thank you for a wonderful job!

They wanted $5,800 for a 35-square foot deck. I laid it out pretty clearly, the thing I posted on the website. It was pretty much what I wanted done. They were quick to respond. They were here when they said they would be. I probably would not use them because they did another job for me that I though was real expensive too. I don’t think they’re going to anymore work for me.

This is one of those large operations with lots of overhead cost and sales commissions to cover, that you will pay for. We contacted them on a recommendation and the experience was downhill from there. They are very nice, professional, and personable, but also pushy, sales-y, and you will pay a premium to cover all their fancy sales costs. A salesman showed up a week after we called because they are too busy to come at your convenience. After an initial sales pitch and scare tactic show, they arranged a re-visit to go over the estimate and would not provide an estimate over the phone or without an in-person sit-down meeting. Basically, they need to come and sit down with you to convince you why you should pay them more than anyone else to do the job. They scheduled the estimate review for over a week later, and when we needed to reschedule the day, it would take them 2 more weeks to come out. Their sales people are too busy running around trying to do as many estimates as possible because they only close a fraction of them and need to make their commissions. Bottom line – we never got the sit-down estimate review because they couldn’t accommodate our schedule and refused to give us a quote without wasting 2 hours of our time with a hard sell session. Do yourself a favor and choose a smaller owner-operated contractor who will do the work themselves and earns their own pay through hard work. This company is dodgy and relies on salespeople.

The crew showed up on time and did an excellent job.
