Jeff Lawler was very personable, prompt, professional, and courteous. He came and gave us an estimate for the work to be done and walked us through the preparation we needed to do, what his team would do, and what the entire process entailed. We agreed on the dates for the work to begin and length of time needed to complete the project. Dan, Jack, and Scott, came on time each day, and did a great job! We are very pleased with the finished product. Our home looks new and so clean and bright with the new paint. Jeff and his crew were a pleasure to work with and have in our home all day for three full, consecutive days. We would recommend them highly and will certainly use them again for our painting needs. They made a stressful project enjoyable for us and we are thrilled with the results!!

Jeff's crew did an incredible job with the kitchen and family room. The wallpaper in the kitchen had been up for 13 years and it was very hard to remove. They also repaired some wall damage. The end result for both rooms was beautiful. We were incredibly happy with Jeff and his crew. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

Jeff and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the start, he was punctual with returning calls, coming in for looking at the worksite, providing estimates. He did a very thorough review of the home. Then, he promptly turned around a firm estimate which was better than the estimates provided by other companies, though not the lowest. The job was started and finished on schedule. Jeff even accommodated some changes we requested. His team was very thorough in removing electrical fixtures and mirrors and re-installing them after the job. Every day, they were meticulous about cleaning up after the day's work. The team paid close attention to even small imperfections in our walls and ceiling and took the trouble of sanding, filling and repainting all of them. As much as we value his work, he was also helpful in referring us to other contractors (for windows, plumbing, carpentry etc.) that we needed while moving into a new home. In particular, he recommended a color consultant (Susanne) who did a great job in helping us select colors and finishes for our home. At the end of about a week, our home looked great and one thing we don't have to worry about is the quality and finish of the pain job in the house. I would recommend his team strongly and will certainly use their services again.

Jeff was highly professional, his team did superb work and with both high quality, amazing efficiency and absolute professionalism in terms of leaving the house each day in the best shape possible to work around the painting. In addition to all of this, Jeff is an excellent project manager. I would HIGHLY recommend Jeff and his team.

Jeff and his team did an amazing job regarding prep, painting and clean up in our new home. While I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the paint job, the clean up was additionally impressive. We will definitely use them again in the future.

This company simply can NOT be beat! They are professional, friendly, and punctual. They painted two very large rooms with lots of crown mouldings, chair rails, two stairways, and baseboards. The attention to detail is unsurpassed - we could not be happier.

Jeff and his crew were great! We had them come in and paint four rooms. They were very accommodating doing the kitchen first knowing we needed the use of it on a particular date. They arrived on time if not early. We are very please with their work. I would definitely use them again!

Overall the job went perfectly and the work is excellent. Hurricane Sandy interrupted our originally scheduled date, but Jeff rescheduled as quickly as possible after my power and heat were back on. After the job was completed I looked all around and didn't find a single spot where paint was dripped or something was missed. I was really impressed by the quality of work, especially as it was completed so quickly. Jeff and his team do a really fantastic job!

All in all the work went very well. The "popcorn" ceiling removal was a major, messy undertaking accomplished over a several day period. By thoroughly covering the carpets and other floors of the house the final clean up was excellent. Even with the difficult nature of this task there were minimal areas that needed to be spackled and repaired prior to painting. After painting the ceilings are outstanding, smooth, clean and pure white. The painting of the trim and walls also went well. Since this was a whole house painting project the work took several days. Aside from one young worker, Jeff's crew was exceptionally professional and thorough in the accomplishment of this painting project. Trim lines and borders are crisp and sharp, the painting of the wall areas are smooth and uniform. I am very, very pleased with how the interior painting of the house turned out. The quality of the work completely exceeded my expectations. The dedication and professionalism of most of the crew is a credit to their craft and JTLawler LLC. I would definitely use this company again for any future interior painting work and recommend them to friends and family.

Jeff came on time at 8:00 AM left about 3 PM. I paid Jeff by check Had two helper one seem to be a young unexperienced man the other older but still lack the desired skilled as discoverd laterHaving confidence in Jeff I did not interfer but was quite surprised they finished the job much earlier than originally estimatedLater I found major problems with the job brush marks almost in every window, sanding debries overpainted, some areas missed I sent Jeff an e mail describing my dissatisfaction he came and inspected and agreed with my complaintHe scheduled another visit 2-3 weeks later and came by himself spent 21/2 hours patching the obvious problemsJeff was on time and tried his best to correct the problems but overall the job needed much highr skill than what he offered in his original meeting.I later found out that due to lack of experience and basic knowledge many windows glass was sanded by inproper use of sand paper. This really bothered me a lot since it can not be fixed also paint peeled off in some windows after many days due to probably poor priming. Overall I regreted using this contractor, I found no reason to contact Jeff again.

This is the second time we have hired JT Lawler. Jeff has been on time, his crew is on time, they are very careful with personal belongings. As the first time. we are completely happy with Jeff, his crew and his pricing. If we ever need interior painting again, we will call Jeff.

Jeff and his team showed up when he said they would and worked at a fast pace throughout the day and completed the job in one day which was nice! They all were very professional and friendly. I was very happy with how everything turned out, the walls were not in the best shape but they made them look flawless. I will definetely use them in the future and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Jeff and his team were amazing from start to finish. My husband and I were in tight spot as we were trying to get the job done before we moved into our new home and every other painter we spoke to either come in with a crazy price (due to our older home's cracked plaster walls) or couldn't get in to do the job for weeks. Jeff emailed me back right away, came out to see the house the next day and his team was able to get the job done just in time (and we only had a week long window!). He was extremely nice, very knowledgeable in his field (especially older homes), and his team did an amazing job! The rooms look amazing - we will definitely hire him when we want to paint the other rooms in our house and recommend him to everyone!

The work was performed beautifully. I was so impressed with Jeff and his team. They are very professional and respond quickly to inquiries. I've never worked with a contractor before who actually showed up exactly on time, and even called to let me know when one of his crew was going to be unavoidably delayed (by less than 40 minutes!) Such a breath of fresh air. His team not only did quality work, but they are quality people and communicate with you, explaining everything that is being done. I would recommend JT Lawler in a heartbeat.

We were looking for someone to remove very old wallpaper in our closet and den, as well as repair the walls and ready them for new paint. Not much luck until we joined Angie's list. I found Jeff, immediately, checked out all his reviews and ratings, gave him a call and right on time, he showed, up at the house, checked out the job, presented the estimate/contract, when he said he would and gave us a start date. After we signed the contract and with the scope of work that had to be done, we were prepared to be in a mess for a full week. Well, Jeff and his crew showed up on Monday, on time, moved the furniture, did all the paper removal, repaired and prepared the walls, painted, cleaned up, and finished on Tuesday. WOW! Jeff is a professional with a personality. We both felt comfortable enough with him, that we did not feel the need to check out any other painters. We will be starting on the 1st floor in a few months and JT Lawler, Inc. will be our first call for the job.

I called Jeff requesting an estimate on a Thursday. He arrived on Saturday to take a look. Sent us a quote via email on Sunday and was at our home on Thursday to start the work. He initially stated it would take 2 days but they finished the work in one.

I decided to hire JT Lawler after reading all of the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a professional, reliable, stand-up businessperson, look no more. Jeff was punctual. Arrived exactly when he said he would every day he worked in my home (4). He is a perfectionist and recommended the best paint (Benjamin Moore Aura). I hired a color consultant recommended by Jeff. I have a pretty good eye for color but I don't think I could have made as good a selection on my own so I was glad I hired Susanne ($130.00/90 minutes). After all of the wallpaper was removed, the walls looked like swiss cheese. They were in awful condition. Jeff got those walls smoothed out and, after the paint was applied, I felt as though I had brand new walls. My house got a facelift. JT Lawler has been hired to paint the shudders and front door on my home and shed. They are expected to do this work late April/early May. I will return to write another review when that work is completed. I feel confident it will be glowing.

The job went well. Price was beyond our budget but Jeff works with you to keep it down. We had just closed on the house and wanted him to finish as much as possible before we moved in. The entire house was painted in a week's time and that helped with the move and unpacking. We also asked for quotes from a couple of other painters. They were all in the ball park but would have taken anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. Given the move and the unpacking we wanted the job to be done as quickly as possible. Jeff worked with his crew of four and painted the entire house plus the finished basement in one week.

Everything thing went very well. Mr. Lawler was very professional, very nice, and easy to deal with. He and his men were on time, finished in the time indicated and cleaned up after the job was completed. I had a very good experience and would use them again.
