Howie called after we requested his services for electricity out in a three rooms downstairs. He asked us to call PSEG to confirm the electricity issue was not related to a thunderstorm the night before the outage. After contacting PSEG we confirmed there was an internal circuit issue in the house. We contacted Howie again and scheduled an appointment. During the appointment he did some deep investigating in the outlets and circuit switches. He successfully identified a secondary circuit breaker box for our generator had tripped. He resolved the issue. He was very courteous and professional.

Howie was professional, prompt, friendly, and does good work. We initially hired him to install some light fixtures in our unfinished basement, and expanded the job to include GFCI outlets in our kitchen and bathrooms (where they were lacking) and extending several outlets flush with paneling and tile. Some of the existing electrical work was quite difficult to work with, but Howie maintained his good humor and did an outstanding job.

Howie deserves more than 5 stars in every category. He is one of the best contractors I have dealt with. He promptly responded to my phone call and text messages. He is a professional in true sense of the word. We had an inoperable GFCI outlet which he came to fix. He was very thorough and systematic in resolving the issue. He checked all the wiring and other interconnected outlets to make sure there was no other problem before replacing the GFCI outlet. By the way, I could tell that he works very hard, because he came over to fix the outlet on a Sunday night even though it was not an emergency. His charges are extremely reasonable and much less in comparison to other electrical contractors' in the area. I'm extremely pleased and highly recommend him for electrical work.

Howie is among the most genuine contractors I have ever worked with, which will be evident upon your first conversation with him. He came over to my house on very short notice just to confirm everything is up to code, (can be difficult to get independent contractors to do). He was very thorough, walked us through all the things he corrected and only charged us $265 when others we're quoting $600-$1000 for the same work. I would highly recommend Be-Wise Electric to anyone in the area looking for an electrician.

Did good first time around. But months later I had to call him back for a problem that I had with something he installed for me and charged me just as much as the first time. I feel that the work should have been gaurenteed and not charged for the same issue.
