I noticed a leak in my roof and called half a dozen companies to meet and interview them for advice and estimates. I chose Garden State Roofing and Chimney and I am very happy I did!! Besi, Toni and their crew were extremely professional, competent, fair and helpful. I went with a total roof replacement and absolutely love it! It's beautiful, and really showcases my house. When I reviewed the other estimates and the pros/cons, Garden State Roofing and Chimney was far above the rest.. Glad I did my homework. Garden State Roofing and Chimney is a family business with a humbleness that is rare these days. They had fair pricing, and the same materials others had, but with better options such as water and ice shield on entire roof. From the first contact, The team at Garden State Roofing and Chimney was professional, yet personable. Besi was quick to respond and show up to inspect my roof. After thorough inspection, it was very obvious to me that I needed to completely replace my old roof. It looked like a trampoline when he walked on it. Besi showed my wife and I our options with real samples of shingles to choose from. He explained the process and gave us a written quote. Within a week, his crew was out. They showed up on time in the morning at 8:00. By 1:35 our roof was completely done and the area thoroughly cleaned. His foreman checked in with me throughout the process to show me what they were doing and once done sent me several pictures of the process. My wife and I could not be happier!

I called around for roof repairs, probably around 15 places. Very few even called me back. Start to finish, on the phone and in person, they were professional, respectful, friendly, and most of all punctual. Finding a punctual contractor is like finding a unicorn. When they were done repairing the damage from age and wind to my roof they also told me what to expect for the next few years. Having that knowledge and subsequent confidence is a big deal to me. Now I can plan ahead and not worry about it day to day. This is a phone number I will be keeping in case I need future work done.

Garden State Roofing and Chimney replaced the main roof on my house as well as the "flat roofs" (porch and bay window roofs). They did a great job both times. The price was very competitive, the crew was efficient, the work was completed quickly and there was no mess or clean up for me to do (no roofing nails or pieces of shingle in the driveway or yard). My roofing needs are taken care of for the next 15 to 25 years but I regularly recommend these folks to others. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had such an incredible experience with this company. I moved into a house about 5 years ago that has a lot of DIY repairs. Unfortunately, I noticed a pretty significant leak on my roof that was starting to create some water damage. I hired this team to help me repair my roof and they went above and beyond. They were extremely kind, helpful, reassuring, reliable and affordable. They even helped me fix a gutter that was falling off the side of my house. I called multiple companies and no one compared to this one in terms of communication and affordability. My family and I returned home from vacation only to find water leaking from our roof into our attic and into our garage. Naturally, it was late on the weekend with many places closed. He quoted me on what to do to fix the problem now and what could wait for later. Fixed the roof up and hasnâ t leaked since. I am very very satisfied with the work performed by Garden State Roofing and Chimney in installing a new roof on my home with my insurance claim. With all the other roofing companies I interviewed promising me everything you can imagine. I never felt comfortable with any of the other roofing companies and what they were promising me. So I did my homework and vetting of other companies online and landed on Garden State Roofing and Chimney and read the reviews. I was very impressed with their experience and knowledge of the insurance claim process. So I reached out to them and I talked with the owner Besi and from our very first meeting he brought insight into the process making recommendations and making other suggestions specific to my home's design and build rather than simply making the typical "sales pitch". The crew was on-time and paid careful attention to safeguarding my shrubs and outdoor lighting while completing the project on time as promised. Clean up was performed every day of the project and despite a small rain delay, they were finished in basically 2 days which was the original estimate.
