Scrub-A-Duct

I scheduled an 8AM appointment to have our dryer vent cleaned. They called 7pm the night before to confirm the 8AM appointment. At 9AM the next morning they still hadn't arrived or called to say they were running late. When I called, they didn't see the issue with the time. I have 3 young kids and my husband stayed home to go into work late so he could be there for the appointment. I did not use their services and had to cancel the appointment. Up until this morning, they were very responsive and easy to deal with over the phone. So this review in no way reflects the quality of their actual service, since we didn't go through with the duct cleaning. After the fact, I was told they use a 1 hour window so my appointment was 8-9AM. However, that was never once mentioned when I scheduled the appointment or when they called to confirm...both times, they said 8AM.

My neighbor called George to clean her dryer vent and I asked him to quote a complete duct-cleaning while he was in the neighborhood. George's quote was the best and so we hired him. He spent two days climbing into our extraordinarily hot crawls space and spent many hours at a stretch ensuring the job was done correctly. He was knowledgeable, informed, polite, professional, trustworthy, etc. I have since referred Scrub-a-duct many times and will continue to do so. They're great. True professionals at a great price.

All went well. dryer vent is not tipical style vent. Very long run and empties into a soffet.
