In the 15 years I am at this location, every time I had it pumped I was asked and quot;how many people live here?and quot; and and quot;when did you last have it pumped outand quot;, and there is and quot; a lot of heavy sludgeand quot;. Then they would offer to and quot;jet outand quot; the drain line for an extra fee, which I always declined. Last year was year 3, and I was surprised when they inspected and said it was fine for another year. It frankly made me nervous. This year they came and did a nice job pumping the tank (I always tip generously, because this is probably the least pleasant job I have to have done at my home). They are punctual, pleasant, and take great pains to avoid doing damage (I have a VERY difficult driveway to negotiate the huge tanker truck).

Called All-County to have our septic tank pumped out. They had pumped it out 3 years earlier. They were able to get me an appointment for the next Saturday. I called that Saturday morning to check on the arrival time and was told betweem 12 - 2pm. By 3pm, no one had arrived so I called for an update. The dispatcher said that someone would be there by 4p. The truck came at 3:45. The technician showed me that the tank was overfilled which meant that the drainage was slow. He told me that even though we had a 1000 gallon tank, he might end up pumping more. He was good to talk to about the possible problems. After pumping, he have me a bill for 1500 gallons (yikes!) so the cost was about 50% more than anticipated. We will need additional work done but have not decided who to use at this time.

Our tak of over 50 years collapsed. Our first estimate was from 9-60 thousand dollars. All-County came in and gave an estimate of 4000 plus pumping of remaining sludge. They did a search and discover to see if we had a viable drain field for which they would charge $600 unless they found one and that cost would be deducted from our final price. We luckily had a field. They made a date for the work which pushed up at my request. They showed up on time and proceded with the job effortlessly. All permits and insoections were handle and the job was complete in 6 hours

This was the 4th time we have had the septic cleaned since we bought the house, and All-County has done it the last three times. I was able to get an appointment for the day I wanted, but they cannot give you a time until the day of the service. I had not had a chance to call the dispatcher after 8:30 am, so I was glad to see the truck show up at 8:40 am. The service went as expected. The driver/tech seemed to know what he was talking about and he was done in about 30 minutes. Our septic is 55 years old so there is always a lot of apprehension when we get it cleaned, but so far, so good.
