Work was done on scheduled day, on time, all work done neatly and professionally. Work was done for price provided on estimate, nothing changed.

I really would like to give this organization a great review. When my wife and I moved into our new home in 2014, they were there - installed a dishwasher, a line for the refrigerator water filter system, cleaned the boiler that is from the 1950's, and came back out to fix the boiler when it stopped firing less than a week later. I was so high on these guys, it was incredible. However, I'm so glad I didn't give them a glowing review. Less than a year later, it's time to update the boiler. I was looking to receive the same service from a great organization. That was a mistake on my part. I called and never received a call back. For more than a month. When I did get in touch with them (because I called, again, to have an estimate done), I was left on hold for almost ten minutes. Then I was told that the only days they do estimates are Thursdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. As a business owner, I need those hours. When I explained that, I was told that this is their policy. - Lack of response - Lack of flexibility These are not good traits. I sincerely regret that I will not be using this service again. I am also saddened by the fact that I feel so strongly as to write a poor review.

The company representative quickly took my call and was very knowledgeable. He anticipated what the needed work may entail from my description. Another office worker quickly scheduled a technician to come the following morning. Michael arrived on time and was very professional. He was able to quickly determine what needed to be done. He had all of the necessary equipment and was able to complete the work within a couple of hours. Cleanup was included. The water pressure has been just right since that time. I'd highly recommend BDP Plumbing!

Work was excellent. Great price and great job with the conversion to natural gas. My only issue was that I was rescheduled several times before the work was started. The work was being done in the middle of winter and they were working with other customers who were having heating emergencies. I was flexible with the scheduling, but it would have been a problem if I needed the job done quickly.

They are excellent and their prices are more reasonable. They were good too. They were also responsive and professional. They came in and they gave me a discount. They were a $100 less than the Russo Brothers for doing the same work. It took some phone calls to get them to respond but once they responded and set up an appointment they were fine.

receptionist told me she could have someone come out the next day. Not helpful when I have a leaking pipe. They may be good plumbers but they don't have a same-day response and shouldn't be listed that way

The technician came punctually as announced. We were not sure what the problem with our toilet was. The technician fixed the toilet and explained the problem. Everything was done in a very professional and friendly manner. We were happy that there was no need to replace the toilet.

They came the same day as my call for help, assessed the problem, and wrote the quote. BDP arrived the next day at the promised time. It took almost four hours and the cost was as quoted, without any surprises less $30 Angie's List discount. They wore booties to protect the wood floor and carpet, removed all the debris and vacuumed. They suggested some other work without forcing it and were professional and pleasant on all levels starting with Margaret who answers the phone. I will scheduled the additional work with them because it made sense. I highly recommend BDP.

service and installation We have had intermittent trouble with our shower pressure for a few years and had two different plumbers come to house and got it somewhat fixed. This time it was really out. Greg the technican knew right away the problem was the well tank and showed me exactly the problem and explained it. He also said we needed a new tub spout and possibly shower head once we had pressure again. We placed the order that day and Greg returned 2 days later to replace. He did a great job; showed me everything done to install and which pipes needed to be replaced which we weren't charged extra for. Determined we didn't need a new shower head, even though he brought the part to install. Best water pressure we have had in years. Greg was terrific. Customer service Choose this plumber because of rating. Tried emailing through Angie's list and no response. Then phoned and got response and next day service. Make sure you have the coupon for $30 off to give to the technician - I had to call to get a credit. Called to find out about service warranty on the tank and the person said she would get back to me a week ago. I went to the product website and registered but feel that would have been easy enough for them to let you know. The warranty on BP's invoice is for 3 months. Price The price I gave a lower score on because they don't break out labor cost. After seeing what a tank costs on Amazon kinda felt the all inclusive price for part and labor was high. That being said, we should have asked for the breakout of the charges to begin with. I would have not even known how to price this out without getting further estimates from other plumbers. Greg actually diagnosed the problem within minutes where other plumbers hadn't. So look at the price has high but worth it in the end.

They came as an emergency call. We are at the edge of their emergency call out zone I was told. They showed up the time they said and worked very quick and clean. I was calling out a lot of different plumbers on the overnight to get someone here and they were the only ones who were profession on the phone and in person. I will use them again for all my plumbing needs.

The work was alright. They just did not honor the Angie’s List discount. Our interaction with them was good and the work they did worked out alright. Their price was average. They came right away, but they screwed up the appointment.

I'm not one to write reviews but this website is based on reviews, so I will keep it short and to the point. A plumber named Greg, from BDP Plumbing and heating, came to my house in a timely and efficient manner in order to evaluate the situation. Greg quickly found the burst pipes (2 pipes) and went right to work repairing them. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing (as I was watching him make the repairs), every step of the way. After the repairs were made and he was refilling the heating system with water, Greg found another problem with the backflow valve being clogged. This was preventing water from entering the heating system to refill the pipes. He was able to disassemble the valve and clean out all the debris that was blocking the flow of water, instead of him replacing the valve with a new one, which would have cost me more money. While the water was refilling the heating system, Greg took the time to give me some pointers and ideas to help prevent frozen pipes from happening again in my house as well as some "Q & A" time, to answer any questions I had. All in all, I had a very pleasant experience with BDP plumbing as well as Greg who is a representative of this company. From the quick repairs down to the little details of the workers wearing protective booties on their feet, to prevent damage to my flooring, BDP rates a A+++ in my book. Thank you BDP and Greg for a job well done & my 4 year old daughter thanks you as well since she wont have to sit in a house that's 47 degrees due to no heat (and I don't have to hear her complain about the cold) :) :) :)

Dominick came to my home at the agreed to time to a**** my current water heater and setup. After speaking about my requirements, Dominick was able to explain my options (Tank vs. Tankless) and the costs and associated maintenance with each unit. He also explained that my current exhaust and piping would need to be updated to meet my town's construction code for the approval of the final inspection. After Dominick assessed the job he worked up a quote based on a 75 gallon tank and I received it the next morning. Once I approved the estimate, his office manager Margaret quickly reached out to schedule the installation. The technician arrived promptly at the agreed time and explained the entire job and timeframe with me. He kept me updated through the whole process and explained some of the changes and updates he made. About 4 hours later the old water heater was gone and the new one was replaced and all of the updated changes were completed. Dominick came by and helped out his technician throughout the install and when they left they cleaned up and everything looked untouched for the exception of the new water heater. Dominick is a very skilled provider and his technicians seem to follow his direction. I was very happy using a local provider in my town who was prompt, competitive, and knowledgeable and will certainly use BDP services in the future. An outstanding experience from beginning to completion. I highly recommend!

We had a pipe burst on Saturday night. We had to turn off the main to stop the leak. The pipe that needs repair is approximately 4 feet in length and there is access at the top (above a drop ceiling) and through an access door in the wall. The technician was polite and courteous and explained that he would have to go to another job after this one so he could not replace the pipe and would instead cap the pipe so we could turn on the water. The whole job took 32 min. The job only required a small length of pipe to finish but I am not a priority customer. For a company whose slogan is "Done once. Done right," to charge me nearly $400 to cap a pipe on a Sunday is insulting. I will not be paying them again to complete the work. 3/3/2015 As a response to BDP on February 20, 2015. I agree, We were very well aware of the 180. emergency call fee. We did not have water and would not only wanted the water to work but we expected to job to be completed that day. We did not expect the technician to leave without completing the work that day. In turn, when we received a call back from technician he stated it would be an additional $580. to come back and "finish." We are simply stating our dissatisfaction with the work not being completed on the same day.

Our plumber was so incredibly polite and professional. He addressed my concerns and how me something that was wrong so he could help us fix it while he was there. He could have just installed the toilet but really wanted to fix a potential problem before putting the toilet in to prevent problems down the road. I was so impressed with the way he spoke to and treated me. I had recently been dealing with a very unprofessional and condescending plumber who was also a complete chauvinist. I was determined to NOT give him any more work. I'm so happy that we found BDP to help us with the rest of our plumbing needs.

Response call on phone was polite and helpful. Thorn came right over and fixed a (frozen/thawed) broken water pipe in the ceiling of a bathroom. Superbly fast, cleaned up all debris, very informative as to what we need next and what it might cost. Told us where to find a water pipe heating wire and where to apply it. Polite, professional, and very helpful. He even applied an Angie's List coupon to the bill which we had not supplied, saving us $30! Would use again in a heartbeat.

Came as promised, did a quick diagnosis and fixed the leaking faucet by replacing the washers of the hot and cold water tab

They removed our oil boiler and installed a gas boiler and hot water heater tank. Very friendly, reliable, explained everything in detail, clean and neat.

Because of the size of the job, I contacted three plumbing contractors. Dominick was the only one who submitted a written quote. When he showed up for the estimate, he put booties on his shoes even though the work was in the basement. He was very polite and knowable. He pointed out several things that were not up to code and offered solutions. The other two contractors offered no solutions and even tried to put in a cheaper method to drain the laundry tub which would have left standing water in the tub. Dominick and Thorne showed up at the appointed time and went right to work. They stayed late until all the drains were hooked up, coming back the next day to finish water lines to the new sink. While they were not the cheapest, the finished job was out standing. No sloppy joints, the drain line look like a work of art and they left the place clean. I believe that you get what you pay for, they are VERY Professional and would not only use them again but would highly recommend them.

Lesson learned, il try to fix myself next time first. The plumber was very nice and fixed something else for me as well which was appropriately priced.

After I wrote the original review the owner called to justify the price and stated that they were required to go through the house and check other things. The problem is that they did not repair what they were hired to do. A couple of days after the phone call the sink was doing what it was doing before I called them. I researched Youtube and found a video on unclogging popup stopper sinks, followed the instructions, and removed a large clog from under the popup stopper. I took photos with my phone. I then reached out to them via phone e-mail and phone again to let them know them know that the clog was under the popup stopper, which they did not remove. I know that they did not remove the popup stopper because I was with them the entire time they were in the house. I sent a letter with photos, requesting a refund, and waited a week before phoning to follow-up. I was told that they would get back to me.

Dave was extremely thorough and explained what the problem was, why the previous repairs did not hold up, and what he was going to do to make sure the leak would be fixed properly. It was also a welcome surprise when I was able to get a same day appointment and the serviceman actually arrived earlier than the time quoted to me. Even better, I got a call from their office to make sure I was home because the repairman was actually able to arrive a little earlier than the time originally quoted. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing repairs and will not hesitate to call them back for any future work that is needed in my home.
