It did not go well. Plumber showed up and I said I figured out the issue and valve was bad and hence free quote not required. These guys charged me $127. Even if I asked them to look at it and took free quote and not hired them for service , there is no charge. But since I did not let them look at it , they charged me $127. Very unprofessional and they did not communicate this when service request was made. I will never use these guys services again and I strongly recommend not to use their services. It is day light robbery.

Anyone who has ever had a plumbing emergency knows that awful feeling of watching water flowing where it doesn't belong. I can't say enough about Dominick and his team. From the first phone call I knew I was in good hands. My service tech Greg was out the next day, arrived when he said he would and did an awesome job in under 2 hours! My wife was super impressed by the courteous and professional service he provided. Having such a quality service provider that I know I can rely on when I need it is invaluable.

Plumber came out and with little diagnostic troubleshooting, he said it was caused by a leaking diverter because he found water behind the trim cap. Note that there was no silicone around the trim cap so obviously water can get between the trim and shower tile.. duh! Then instead of REPLACING the brass diverter, which costs roughly $200 for the entire part, he only replaced the $2 rubber gasket and washer insider the diverter but charged us as if he replaced the entire component! For $450, I’d expect the whole diverter to be replaced, not just the rubber O-seal inside. We go away on vacation, come back and low and behold, the ceiling starts leaking again. Call back the plumber (who was very responsive but defensive) and he wants to charge us for another “diagnostic” visit which includes tearing up our tiles and opening up our ceiling. In the end, we diagnosed the leak ourselves. It was missing grout between the tub and shower tile which caused water to seep down to the subfloor and put through the ceiling. DUH! He didn’t even offer to partially refund his shoddy diagnostic ability and credit us back for the diverter washer scam job. $450 rubber gasket.., unbelievable. In the end, a $3 tube of silicone around the bathtub and around the shower trim prevented water from infiltrating below.

Dom and his team did a great job explaining the work to be done. The project included: - Removal of old furnace - Removal of old Oil tank - Addition of LP furnace with A/C - Installing gas lines from furnace to home exterior - Moving part of existing ductwork for efficiency. - Installing Condenser unit for A/C They pulled permits and ensured removal of old oil tank and sealed holes where tank access was. Everyone who worked at the house was professional and skilled in their work. When the work was completed, they cleaned up the project area. We would definitely recommend BDP for Oil to Gas conversion, furnace installation and Plumbing work. They did a great job and they stand behind their work!

We called BDP and they were at our home that day. George called to let us know when he was on his way and he was very courteous on the phone. Once George arrived he looked at the job and gave us an estimate before performing any repairs. He told us the coil was bad and it would have to be ordered. Later that evening, George called and said he found one and would be at out home at 7:30 the next morning. Its now 10:30 and the job is done. I have never encountered someone who explained everything in detail, and actually lived up to their word. This is one company that I would definitely recommend.

BDP has been providing service for us for many years. They have done oil to gas conversions for us in two different houses. They have also installed all new bathroom fixtures for us in two bathrooms, and replaced an air conditioning system. They do all maintenance on our heating and air conditioning systems, and have provided various other plumbing services over the years. All of their employees are terrific. They are prompt and friendly. They get the job done and take care not to leave any mess behind. I always recommend them without hesitation to anyone I know.

We switched over from oil to gas; got a gas stove, and a new generator. We are extremely happy with the loyal services we have gotten from BDP. We haven't had to worry about any of it. They arranged permits, got the electrician and figured out the cheapest gas company in our area. I should note. This isn't the first time we've called BDP. Although it's the first time my wife or I posted on Angie's list. In fact, we've used BDP for installation of a new heat zone, adding baseboard to a room, toilet changes and other small and big jobs. I would highly recommend them, without reservation. They know their stuff, the code and requirements, and how to get things done.

Dominick was fantastic. Extremely courteous and professional and spent time explaining everything. Fixed the thermo coupler and even went over a few other things/options with us on potentially replacing our 30 yr old boiler (I asked for estimate).

On day one (10/26/17), Jorge arrived was very professional and explained that my steam boiler needed a new main vent. Jorge replaced the vent and It worked great, for about a week! I called back and left two messages with the company AND no call back. Finally after the third message I received a call back, three weeks later! On that day a different plumber was sent. The plumber spent about 30 minutes in the house looking at the boiler while receiving instructions from someone on the phone. It was apparent this plumber did not know what he was doing. At the end he informed us that he was unable to diagnose or repair the problem. He advised that he would have to return with a, "steam boiler expert". At this point he proceeded to inform us that his visit, for doing nothing would cost us $125. I immediately requested to speak with the owner. The plumber advised that he would have the owner, Dominick, call me back. I have yet to hear from him. Still no heat in some rooms. Its now been 4 days and no call from Dominick. Its apparent this company doesn't value the customer and doesn't stand behind their work. I'll be moving on looking for a new plumber before the winter really kicks in.
