BDP Plumbing was super helpful and very responsive....I scheduled an appointment for a friend who needed their kitchen faucet replaced.....it hadn't worked in 10 years......Matt came over and reviewed the situation and went to work. Running water after 10 or so years! He was very pleasant to work with an upbeat and positive attitude....truly a nice guy and I would hire him again in a heart beat. Dominick and Margaret at BDP were also very helpful.....helping me with a situation of scheduling for a friend....I didn't know she would let it all happen......I explained the situation to them and they were very understanding and incredibly patient.....BDP will be my only New Jersey area plumber.

Thorne came on time and was very pleasant and professional. He answered many questions we had on plumbing. We had reproduced the leak over the weekend and noted it when the jets were on. Suspected the jets vs the drain. In addition, we left water in full tub for 24 hrs, and no apparent leaks. However the leak was not discovered during the visit. Jets were running and Thorne used camera to see behind the wall. Despite running for 5-10 min, he couldn't see leak, and the ceiling below did not get wet. When the tub was drained, no leak as well. As frustrating as the experience was with the misbehaving tub, Thorne was very professional. He did tighten the overflow, and said if it happened again, to call back and we would proceed with opening the ceiling from below. I would work with him again. His answers were fair and honest.

I thought the price, though a little higher than expected, was more than fair for the service and quality I received.

We have had ongoing problems with our main bathroom tub drain. We tried to snake it ourselves but we couldn't get it to go down. After finding BDP on Angie's List we called them, got a price quote and scheduled an appointment. The serviceman arrived on time, snaked it and ran across the same problem we encountered with the water still not going down. He went into the basement to check the pipes but couldn't remove the plug near one fo the right angles. After cutting out the plug and checking the pipes further down the line, he pulled out some plastic bath toys. He sealed up the plug and our problem was fixed. Even though the job took a lot longer than anticipated and required extra work, he didn't charge us extra. I will definitely be calling them next time we have any plumbing related issues.

We are attempting to purchase a home that is a short sale in "as is" condition. The home has been vacant for 3 years and the town required that we have a plumber on hand when they turned the water on. Dominick Bianco showed up on time. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. There were numerous problems with the plumbing system and he was not able to fully pressurize the system without flooding so he shut it down. He advised us that the insulation inside both the gas burner and the hot water heater indicated that they had been under water at some point and that both needed to be replaced. He really knew what he was doing and offered us advice on what to do. His office was a delight to deal with as well. The estimate for repairs was provided via email in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

I got a few quotes and decided to go with BDP Plumbing. They were not the lowest price but I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for so opted to go with a mid range quote and see how things would play out. The plumber, assigned to the job was very professional and honest. He made sure all permits were submitted in a timely manner and made an effort to work with our schedule as to not disrupt our time at home and at work. He stayed in touch with me and answered my calls in a timely fashion. He completed the work in the timeframe he said he would take and waited for the town to inspect and approve the work as well. I know how difficult it is to find a contractor that is reliable, honest, and won't look to cut corners. I found BDP Plumbing to be one of the most responsive and professional companies I have worked with in a long time. I look forward to using them again for future plumbing needs.

BDP saved the day. We were doing a major bathroom addition on our second floor and the original contractor had run all of the plumbing flush against and exterior wall, which is a significant freezing risk here in the northeast. BDP came in quickly and rerouted the entire project . Thorn, our plumber, was able to tear out all of the old work and rerun the entire project in 2.5 days (it had taken the previous contractor 3 weeks to do it the incorrect way). BDP was fast, professional, and the quality was outstanding.

They actually changed one bathroom into a full bathroom. The thirty grand was not just for all tiling, sheet rocking and carpentry, those sort of things. The plumbing part might have been close to ten thousand. We use them often. They have come to replace the water heater. They are really punctual and reliable. They are very fair in price. They show up on time.

I called them initially to fix a leaking pipe in my home. They recommended and did a water test as they were concerned that the pH of my water might be acidic. It came back that my water was highly acidic and they installed a pH neutralizer in my home. They did a great job, and were very professional and fast working. I would highly recommend them.

My wife noticed the under-sink leak on Saturday. By the time I found the cause and realized I needed a professional it was late afternoon. I consulted Angie's List and found BDP Plumbing's very impressive service record and learned that they also had service technicians only a few miles from me. I called Saturday evening and got their answering service which took down some basic information. I told them it was not an emergency but I would like a service on Monday. I was told I would receive a response from a company representative by early Monday. I got the response at 7:30 Monday morning saying that the serviceman would arrive between 12:30 and 1:00pm. Matt actually arrived over an hour early which was even more convenient for me. I told him I needed the leaky kitchen sink faucet replaced and that the shut-off valve to the dishwasher was not working properly. I also told him that I prefer the more reliable ball type shut-off valves and he told me that he had ball valves in the truck that required only a quarter turn of the handle to turn the water on or off. Consequently, I then asked him to replace all three under-sink shut off valves with the ball valve type. Matt finished the work at about 1:30pm and included, on the contract, without my having to ask, the $25.00 discount advertised on the Angie's List website. Later Monday afternoon, Bill Diamond called me to confirm some billing information and ask how the job went. I look forward to including BDP on my short list for estimates in connection with an oil to gas conversion later this year.

So far this company has been the best of all plumbers that I have had contact with. Problems with my plumbing were properly diagnosed and treated.

See above. This firm was decent years ago. Used to be just Bill Diamond himself. Bigger company with multiple techs and vehicles a year ago and VERY HIGH PRICED. I had them estimate some other projects in my house and I wound up getting the things done for almost half what they quoted. Interestingly, the company filed bankruptcy about a year ago and now operates under a different name. $250 for the simple thing I needed - which was not done correctly - is enough for me to not recommend them to anyone else. .

Overall I was pleased with the experience. The only issue we had was that the same day he installed the tank the handle on our shower broke. The plumber seemed to know this when I called him, however they weren't able to send someone back out for several days. Consequently my wife and I had to use the guest bathroom to take showers. This was a mild inconvenience.

He came out and was very honest and the price was reasonable as he gave a senior discount.

The plumber arrived on time. Actually, I think he came a few minutes early. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. I showed him what was wrong and what I wanted done. I thought he was just going to give me an estimate and leave. I did not realize that he was going to fix it the same day. He came back with a price. We agreed. He started the work and was done before I knew it. I wish that I had stayed with him because I had some questions about the well, how often to change the filter, and water softening. He was very approachable and I felt comfortable asking him questions which you do not always find with plumbers. If I needed further work done, I would definitely use this company again.
