+ 2 moreWe were very pleased with how the project went and totally satisfied and more with the result. Starting in mid-September, the project was completing by mid-December. Steve (and his workers) were very personable and reliable, with a work schedule that was both flexible and minimally disruptive. He even took the time to greet our dogs every morning to win them over and ease their stress. He was very communicative, there were minimal “bad surprises” as are typical with remodeling projects, and any problems that did come up were fully resolved with a completely acceptable conclusion. We now have Steve working on the lower level of our home with similar tasks ahead. We were thrilled with the results of the Fall project.
Description of Work: Complete gut and remodel of one bathroom, including replacement of fiberglass shower stall with floor to ceiling tiled shower, tiled floor, new cabinets, vessel sink and toilet, with new door and all fixtures. Strip wallpaper from 3 bedrooms, all new doors, undercoating and painting/staining of walls, trim and baseboard (adding baseboard in places it did not exist), installing new light fixtures and switches as needed. Similar treatment of hallway, living room, dining room, removing wallpaper, undercoating and painting walls and ceiling, refreshing and/or adding baseboard and trim, installing new light fixtures, switches, etc., as needed. Refinishing stairs (two sets, front and back) leading downstairs, with similar wallpaper removal, undercoating and painting of walls, refreshing any other wood trim, and installing chandelier in entryway. Also worked in conjunction with flooring contractors who replaced carpeting on the entire floor of the house.

+ 2 moreI hired Steve to remodel an outdated mid-80s bathroom. To say we are happy with the work done is an understatement. Steve showed up on time at my home to review the work and give an estimate on the cost. Once we decided on the job details he provided me a detailed list of all the items he would need to do the job. No guesswork on my part!!! Steve started the job on time and kept me updated daily as to the work completed, upcoming work and any questions\decisions that needed to be made. The bathroom now is fantastic. Looking at before and after photos you wouldn't believe they were they same space. I would highly recommend Steve to friends and family. So much so that I have rehired him to finish a second bathroom!!!
