Description of Work: Advertised for my town, paid deal in full, then said that they don't service my town?! Angies list takes my money instantly and refunds it extremely slowly... No shows should have instant credit... All documented in emails so why the wait !?

Description of Work: They nailed a small piece of siding back onto my house after it blew off in a storm. It took 15 minutes. I know they charge by the hour but they should use common sense and make exceptions. How could they charge so much for such a small job?

Thank you your feedback and I understand that the price is high for a job that takes less than an hour. We always encourage customers to use the full hour to get other work done when they are calling for an emergency repair that may not take a full hour. The cost of running an office with a full time staff, having insurance and professional technicians makes it prohibitive to do work at lower rates. We completed the work on the same day we got the call. Not many companies can consistently provide that level of service for a minor repair.

Description of Work: Needed my storm door fixed. Person showed up on time. Did not do a satisfactory job. Made couple of extra holes and still not fixed to satisfaction. Update 5/22 - Bruce of Mr. Handyman called and we had a very pleasant conversation. He promised to look at solutions to help fix the problem at no cost to me. I quite appreciate the follow up call and have upgraded the overall rating and the rating for professionalism.

Description of Work: It was an emergency project to repair or replace my sump pump in the basement. He was very thorough and effective. I thought I would have to replace the sump pump and was pleased to know that it could be repaired. I would definitely use them again for other projects.

Description of Work: Initially had new doors and moldings removed and replaced. Very impressed with their work, so I contracted them to remove and replace my staircase. Excellent carpentry skills in all 3 mechanics, Bruce Paul and dean. A1A job, very pleased, will contract them again.
