They also replaced an improperly installed toilet. | I purchased the 8 hour deal for $259. |They quickly identified the problems and did a great job making it right. They even drove around with my husband trying to find a store with the correct stove in stock. |My only small gripe is that I wasn't expecting 2 guys which meant we only had their services for 4 hours instead of 8. My to-do list required a lot more than 4 hours. However, to be fair, the toilet removal (which was previously installed improperly, without a flange and cemented to the ground!) was a labor intensive job in itself. We would have paid much more had we hired a plumber to fix it. So I am thrilled with the work for the price. |In all, very competent, pleasant guys who I will definitely be calling on again.

Description of Work: Earlier I had mentioned that the Handyman had done a sloppy job. But when I got back to them they promised to rectify and helped with the installation of the shower door. Dennis knew what needed to be done and set about his job and finished the job. I am very happy with their service. Dennis is very efficient and I would give him 5 stars for the help he has given us.

Description of Work: They replaced the sides of the door, nailed the sides of the door, and painted the entire door. The worker showed up on time and was very professional and courteous.

Description of Work: We had Dean from Mr. Handyman install an upstairs bathroom fan, which entailed venting it through a very narrow crawl space in the attic. We had the new fan and all the parts, but Dean took care of the complete install, including the wiring. Dean seemed good and professional. He left things looking clean. Fan works great. Mr. Handyman schedules jobs without coming out for an estimate, so the customer just pays by the hour. In some ways, that's quick and convenient if you aren't worried about knowing in advance what will be charged. In our case, they billed for 5 hours. The woman who scheduled me by phone estimated it would be a 4-6 hour job, so I was not surprised by the price.

Description of Work: Excellent job. Far better than I had imagined when commissioning the work. Craftsmanship was of high quality. My adult daughter who happened to be at my house at the time loved dealing with the handyman. She said he was very polite, professional and had a good sense of humor.
