+ -1 moreMonroe Township, NJ inspector did not do his job and never inspected the work despite having been paid. This is a public service message for anyone in Monroe Township, NJ having permitted work performed. You should arrange to be on-site when the inspector comes or theres a chance you'll not be inspected.
Description of Work: Contractor is out of business. I later had another contractor in to perform roof repairs following a violent wind storm. Contractor found that Jerry's home improvement job was shoddily performed. Roof flashing from the previous job was used resulting in leaks potential. Monroe Township NJ inspector never reviewed the job despite having paid for permits. I'm told that this is common practice in this township.

Description of Work: Hired to install a new roof ( 2nd roof). About 4 years later I had to call in another contractor to repair light storm damage to the roof. Jerry's was no longer in business. The contractor told me that whoever did the roof tried to re-use the existing flashing rather than replacing the old flashing. He was surprised that we had not experienced any leaks. I also felt that the new roof was not firmly anchored down. I would not recommend Jerry's again if he were to go back into business again. the roof was installed between 1990 and 1995.

+ -1 moreI FEEL THIS COMPANY IS OUTSTANDING. THEY COMPLETED ALL THE WORK WITHIN A WEEKS TIME AND THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE FROM SWEDEN AND THEY DON'T WASTE ANY TIME. THE CLEAN UP WAS THOROUGH. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING.
Description of Work: WE HAD SIDING WITH INSULATION UNDERNEATH INSTALLED AND ALL OF OUR WINDOWS REPLACED.
