First-time home owners. Good experience with Doctor Dustless. They had a competitive price per sq ft. We briefly entertained a competing bid that was a bit lower but that contractor seemed relutant to provide things (like an itemized estimate) in writing. We made the right choice. The floors were under old carpet for 27 years. There were some areas of staining from spills that sat in the carpet and dog urine stains in a few places. All TV coaxial cables were run through holes that were drilled through the floor in each room. Doctor Dustless sanded everything, plugged up the holes and stained the floors a dark walnut and finished with a satin sheen Bona HD traffic. They look like newly installed floors. We are happy with the service and the result and I would use them again.

Emil and his team were great and performed excellent work. He worked with our schedule and did the work better than expected. His attention to detail was impressive. I would recommend him to anyone.

Work was flawless - my only complaint was punctuality. We had several false and late starts. Work was absolutely top notch but the timing issues really were an annoyance. Might make me consider someone else but probably not because Emil obviously knows exactly what he is doing.

They did an outstanding job. They took up our carpeting and removed all the staples. We needed a few planks of wood replaced which matched up perfectly. They were so neat and clean, really no signs of dust from the sanding that was done. We can't wait to have them back next year to do the rest of our floors.

Doctor Dustless; the BEST Floor Contractor in the United States. And I can prove it! On February 18, I made a call to Dr. Dustless. I had just had two experiences with floor refinishers and was looking for someone who would treat my home as if it were their own. Both floor refinishers came from Angies List. I must say, I am not a big fan of Angies List. I have over a dozen calls out to contractors who have still not returned my calls. Even with A+ ratings, I have found many Angies List contractors either never call you back or don’t have time to take on more work. Anyway, Emil at Dr. Dustless picked up the phone. I explained to Emil that I have been looking to stain my floor the color grey. Besides the fact that the color grey is a very difficult color to stain a hardwood floor, it was something that Emil felt may not be something he wanted to do. The color grey is a very difficult color to stain a hardwood floor and the results are mediocre at best. I then told Emil I found an oil that will stain a floor grey and will look like no other floor you’ve seen. With over 20 years in the floor business Emil said; I don’t think that is something I want to do. He had a bad experience with a custom color and didn’t want to revisit another bad experience. Then I got to convincing him. I told him I spoke with a Bona technician in London who would provide me samples of the color grey that he’d never seen before. I am unsure Emil believed me. He told me to send over some pictures of the samples they made and he would think about it. After seeing the samples he called me. He said he was interested in entertaining the project. Emil came by to measure my floors. After about an hour he said he would get back to me with an estimate. We spoke throughout that hour and must say, Emil’s knowledge of floors and staining far exceeds his time in this business (almost 30 years). When Emil left I told my wife he was hired. I knew he was the right guy/company for this project. His A+ rating on Angies List also made it an easy hire. I told Emil that Bona, [the manufacture] did not sell the product in the United States. The biggest issue was the American Red Oak used in the States. I had to send samples of American Red Oak to London. Those samples were sent to Sweden where Bona’s headquarters are located. The Bona lab techs spent 8 days experimenting on my American Red Oak and came up with a formula to produce a grey floor like you’ve never seen. The products were sent to me and I met with Emil to have him work with the formula. The results were remarkable. I placed an order for the formula. The technicians in London found a Bona factory in Germany that had the oil mix we needed. That shipment was sent to London and then to me. All this time Emil and I kept in touch scheduling and re-scheduling days to work on this floor until the materials arrived. If there is anything I can say about Emil is that he is passionate about floors. As I stated before, his knowledge of floors far exceeds his years in this business. Not once did my calls ever go to voicemail or texts go unanswered. I have counted over 150 texts between me and Emil. All which were always answered. You never get that communication with contractors…ever. The job begins…Emil said he would be at my home to start work by 8:30 am. They were here at 8:30am. In the two weeks spent at my home, Emil and his crew never showed up late or left early. The two previous floor contractors all told me they would be here by 8:30; Emil and his crew were the only contractors who ever showed on time every single day. And unlike the two previous floor contractors, the floor techs worked the entire day; straight till 5:30. Over the course of the project we ran into some staining issues. Emil and I had to schedule conference calls with the Bona techs in London. Again, Emil ALWAYS made himself available. With Emil on the phone with the Bona technicians Emil was able to explain our issues and how different the oil reacted to floors when outside a laboratory. Needless to say we continued to move forward. Finally, after two weeks my floors are done. With the exception of some issues due solely by the product, the floors look amazing. Just amazing. I can say with confidence that no one in the United States has a floor like mine. I can also say that the floors would not look this good without Emil and his crew doing the work. I say this after having two other floor technicians attempt to do what Emil did. Have a look at the pictures attached. I assure you, you’ve never seen a floor like this. It isn’t often you find a person who runs a business and is so involved with the day to day operations of his team in the field. That’s where Emil and Dr. Dustless separates himself from the rest. If Emil did plumbing, he’d be my plumber, if he fixed cars he’d be my mechanic, if he was a doctor he’d be my doctor. It isn’t often I write reviews, let alone reviews this long, but this is well deserved. After seeing the ratings here, I decided to send a mail and schedule an appointment for an estimate. My mail was answered promptly as was every other mail I sent. This is an extremely professional company from owner to crew to tools and process. Emil certainly knows his business and had no trouble demonstrating that to me. I received all the options, notice of things that we may have to review after the work started (i did have a water stain in one room). I was very impressed at our meeting by his knowledge and he made me believe he really cared about the quality of his work (he does). We set a date and he came when he said with a crew that was knowledgeable, well trained and VERY respectful of their workplace (my home). It was interesting to hear them all collaborate on their plan of engagement which ended quickly and they scattered to perform their duties. Their equipment was state of the art (the company name is well deserved) and their process was even more impressive. Everything was organized and staged to minimize effort and maximize efficiency. They all worked very well together. Once the sanding was done, we walked through the house. I was not expecting the wood to look as good as it did and quickly made up my mind to leave it natural despite the water stain which was clearly going to show but close to the wall and in a place likely to have furniture covering. Once the floors were sealed it was clear that I made the right choice. Walking through the house I could see that the quality of work extended to every corner no matter how obscure or hidden. The quality of their work was extraordinary. The finished floors were well beyond what I was expecting by quite a margin. In less then two days time they made the floors nearly perfect (my water stain could pass as art). When they were gone the house was cleaner than when they came: There was never any dust . . . This is an awesome company with a spectacular crew that does superior work. Best contracting experience of my life. My hats off to all of them! Emil and his team were superb! From the start, you could tell this company is serious about their job. Very professional at all times, felt very comfortable having the workers in our home even when Emil had to leave for a few hours. Everyone was respectful, friendly, and on their game. When they say dustless, they mean it--super clean at all times. They put down dropcloths to keep the floors leading into the bedrooms spotless and scratch-free, cleaned up after themselves as if they were never here (except for the gorgeous new floors, of course). Answered our many questions with patience and thoughtful, honest answers. Wood floors are definitely an investment, and it's worth hiring Dr. Dustless for the job. Looking forward to hiring them again as we refurb more rooms in the future.

Incredible. Emil and team are as reliable and punctual as any service provider we've ever hired. They do great work- our floors are among the highlights of our home. And where most "dust free" floor people fall short and leave some residue behind, Dr. Dustless is legitimately dustless. They don't leave a spec behind.

My wife was very particular about the stain color and the finish of our floors. We looked at the reviews for several professional flooring companies and received quotes from almost 10 flooring companies. Not only was the quote provided by Emil competitive but he was very knowledgeable as well. Emil & his crew were very professional. They arrived promptly on time everyday. Emil was very accommodating and he went out of the way to make sure my wife's dream house was possible. The floors look beautiful, exactly the way we envisioned them. Emil & his crew did a fantastic job. We have received several compliments on the floors so far. I will definitely hire Doctor Dustless in the future to do the rest of my house.

They were fantastic and I can’t say enough good things about them. The work was done superb. The owner was here all the time and he explained all my options to me. The workers were excellent as well. They were very clean and they swept every day. They were very accommodating. I had three kids here and they were very good about keeping it safe for the kids. It was just a very well run company.

He refinished the oak hardwood floors in my 50 year old house. They look brand new! His work is premium.

They showed up right on time and they finished right when they estimated they would be done. They worked with me on the color, which I was really uncertain about, and it looks beautiful! Also, we have a baby and I was concerned about the dust but it truly is dustless. A couple of days later when I noticed a small piece of grass embedded in the polyurethane, I notified Emil and he came right over the next morning and fixed it!

I found him on Angie’s List and he was excellent. He was superb in every respect. He was fair with the pricing and I can’t say enough about him. He came on time and he gave us a price and if there were more damage in some areas, he would show it to us and if we wanted it fixed, he would give us a price before he did it. The floors look great. He didn’t over charge us. He did it when he said he would. He was very professional. There wasn’t anything I would not recommend him for. He absolutely was a great guy. Another thing was that we were away in Mexico and he just did it on his own. He had the key, he came in, did the job, emailed the price and everything was perfect. The quality of floors was excellent.

Manager was there every day to check several times a day - work took 3 days as indicated - it was dustless!!! Perfect - instructions provided for care of the floors - it is looking perfect.
