Magic Garage Cleaners

I was fortunate enough to find Magic Garage Cleaners when I was looking for a company to clean out my basement. The basement was not finished, and had 20+ years of dirt and junk all over the place. Dave and his crew cleaned out the whole basement, and then cleaned out my garage. I was so happy with their work that I had them come back and remodel my entire basement. They ripped out the old/unfinished stuff and put in new sheetrock, flooring, ceilings, fresh paint, etc. The basement looks wonderful and I now have a home gym and plenty of storage space. I hired an electrician who did all the lighting and completed the new look. I now have Dave and his crew back and they are remodeling my garage including a new roof, gutters and leaders, shelving, windows, and doors. I already have a list of other repair/remodel/painting jobs I will use them to complete. Not only do they do a professional job, they are very pleasant to deal with while doing the work. They are always on time and Dave is the most responsive person who has ever done work in my house. He is on site for the job and, if he is not on site, he is readily available by phone, text, or email. He responds immediately to any questions or concerns. It is so refreshing to have a contractor who is so responsive; so many of them disappear and don't return calls. He stays in constant contact throughout the job and does what he promises to do. Another nice touch if you can't be present while the work is being completed, Dave continually checks in with you and sends photos of the work as it is being completed. This is a reliable company that I will continue to use and certainly recommend.

I generally do not write reviews, however, I feel compelled to write one here. I was extremely happy with the overall experience with Magic Garage Cleaners. Process was easy and I got the results I was looking for. I was able to take pictures of what I needed cleaned and Dave from Magic Garage Cleaners provided me with a line-item quote of his recommended services based on pictures and a brief phone call conversation. He and his team arrived on the day of the work and did an amazing job. His work exceeded my expectations. I would unequivocally recommend him to any close friend or family member for garage cleaning services.

From the moment of estimated through the "reveal" of the finished job, this company treated this with respect and total professionalism. we could not believe what was achieved. My husband and I had gone through many boxes to determine what would go....and Magic Garage Cleaners treated him with respect and humor while doing a very efficient job. They filled a 20 foot dumpster!

Magic Garage was incredible. In one week, my garage went from old, ugly and dirty to new, refreshing and pristine. I was constantly in contact with the owner as to work timing, progress, choices, etc. If I had to do it all over again, would absolutely use Magic Garage.

Obtained refund within 30 day period.

Everything went well. Only lesson learned is that we should have removed stuff from the walls (we had stuff hanging on pegboard, and some storage containers hanging, etc.), so that we got the full benefit of the service. Our bad, not theirs. Would use them again, but adjust our prep.

Dave and his assistant turned my dirty basement into a place I feel comfortable being in.

David and his team were very professional and efficient in their work. David was very responsive and communicated clearly on expectations. It took 2 days to get the work done and they came back on the 3rd day to arrange everything in the basement back the way it was. Job well done. I have recommended him to friends of mine and expect to hire him again for additional work down the road.

We no longer have a moist smelly basement storage room ! Our garage has been transformed into a clean bright space! David was on site during the entire time and provided additional services that were not in the original estimate at his expense. We plan on hiring him again to knock out a few additional projects. He was responsive and never left me guessing on the status of the job and the expected completion time.

Excellent = the garage was "disgusting" before and the job was just finished and it now looks great. Very pleased with the services and Dave, who did the work. Have asked for additional services which will be done in another month. Definitely recommend. Once I contacted the company, I was contacted in less than 24 hours, flexible is setting up the appointment and already stated that I am very pleased with the results.

We moved into a new house in August and wanted to have our garage cleaned and repainted. As the floor was badly marked I decided to have epoxy or polyaspartic flooring done so I looked online for a local provider. David and the company had great reviews so I contacted him for a quote. He was quick to respond, call out and quote and then start the job when I agreed the price. He actually managed to reschedule his work to suit my timeline which was really appreciated. He worked quickly, was professional and friendly and did a great job. We are delighted that we had the work done and I would definitely recommend Magic Garage.

Magic Garage Cleaners did not meet 30 day refund time limit to perform work after attempts & scheduling appointments. Wasted time and caused issues for planned work for my other subsequent handymen who were also hired & scheduled dependent upon completion of garage cleaning. Obtained refund from Angie's List. Also the "deal" was mis-leading as it indicated that organization of garage was included and would provide additional garage space. However, Magic Garage Cleaners charges extra per hour for organization. $399 deal only included cleaning.

Did a thorough cleaning job. Difficult to schedule, but job well done

It really pains me to leave a negative review but in this situation I feel compelled. I started communication with him on July 31 and was given a date one month later August 29. Luckily we were in no hurry but did want the job completed and a fairly timely manner. The morning of the job he texted me to cancel because he had to bring his son to the doctor. I had rearranged my schedule purposely for this and been waiting a month however I understand that family emergencies arise. However you would think that he would be very apologetic and reschedule immediately and instead I've had to reach out multiple to ask about his availability and I'm still waiting for a response back about his availability. He did get back to me once and mentioned that he was too busy during the week and that perhaps he might come out on a Saturday. I don't want to be chasing a vendor to do work so I am guessing that he is either not in business anymore or already booked with many jobs and doesn't need my business. Obviously we have hired somebody else who's coming ithis week and answered immediately. I know he has a lot of good reviews but in this instance canceling and then not promptly rescheduling resulted in this review.

Magic Garage Cleaners did a great job thoroughly cleaning out our garage with eco-friendly supplies. Also took the time in recommending how to maintain our garage in great condition. Overall, definitely a reliable and good company to hire.

Arrived on time; professional and personable; very good work including carefully returning the hose to the back yard faucet. Garage looks clean and organized.

When they arrived, they reviewed with us again, what needed to be done, so that we were all on the same page. The 3 car garage was in very bad shape. They removed everything out of the garage, including a 17ft boat. Washed down the floor, got rid of debris and unwanted items. Everything was put back in the garage in an organized manner. It was a job that was well done!!!!

The work was done on schedule and on time as described. The workers were excellent at their work and kept all areas clean and covered. Excellent job performance.

It didn't. Twice he cancelled. Since I work in the city, on the days they were supposed to come, I arranged to work from home. I don't like working from home if I don't have to - both times I didn't have to. I don't trust that they will show up when they say they will.

Both David & Michael were prompt, courteous and hard workers. ?We had piles of "stuff" to get ride of and they removed ALL the stuff we didn't need in the garage, took our junk away, and totally reorganized the garage so that we are able to fit both vehicles in the garage!!! ?They organized everything...we have a lot of car cleaning products that they neatly organized in one section for us, as well as organized all the lawn items together, and all of the electric tools together. ?All other tools are neatly organized as well. ?They reorganized the shelving to make it easy to get what we need. ? Everything that should be together is now so organized its truly amazing!!! ?We also have this small storage area off the garage where our furnace is as this home has no basement. ?They totally organized that entire area as well, and did such a spectacular job. ?It is so wonderful to have an organized garage, and in my situation, organized storage area, and so glad that I was able to find a company such as Magic Garage to do this job.

Dave was very customer service and quality oriented. He was responsive and constantly kept me informed how the job was going including sending me photos when I wasn't at home. His team did a quality job and ensured everything was tidied up. We ran into some unexpected issues because we had originally planned to paint concrete under the basement carpet. Unfortunately there were multiples types of floors under the carpet including vinyl tile containing asbestos. Because the floor was not level and we could not sand it down due to the asbestos Dave suggested using the tiles we chose for the garage but in another color. It took extra time to get that tile but that was outside Dave's control since none of us knew what was under the carpet. We had one other minor glitch with a few tiles being a slightly different color but Dave was able to swap them out and ensured that the job was completed with high standards in mind. I would recommend them in the future and am very happy with the final job.
