We had a major backup in our plumbing. Water started dripping through the ceiling to the lower level. I called Mr. Rooter and they answered in 2 rings, asked a few questions and sent a technician. Diego arrived within the hour and was very nice and professional. He went right to work and alerted me of the potential issues that could have happened to cause this. Unfortunately, he had to put a few small holes in my ceiling to look for the leak with his boroscope (camera). But it was necessary and he made sure not to make them too bad which I appreciated. He spent a good 30-45 mins looking for this leak. He certainly did a through job but this leak couldn't be confirmed. This was unusual and under other circumstances I would feel that if there is water you should find where the leak was. But Diego is a clear professional and I have full confidence that he did all he could to figure this out. He could have easily just spent 15 mins and called it a day and left but he didn't. I felt comfortable when he was done that this was an anomaly. He did give some explanation as how this could have possibly happened and it made sense. Diego is someone I felt comfortable with and he knows what he is doing and you can tell his priority is make sure the customer is taken care of. You do not see that very often so because of that I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

Every time we called them for a repair they responded promptly, were professional, gave a detailed explanation of the repair, provided multiple options, and gave an HONEST assessment/recommendations even if it did not benefit their company. I have hired plumbers before and felt as if I was taken advantage of every time. This was not the case with Mr. Rooter. I felt that their prices very fair and the repairs were completed to a high standard. Additionally, in one case a defective part was installed unknown to us and the installer at the time. When we called them back for the repair assuming it was just another problem with our plumbing, they informed us that the part was defective and made the repair at no cost to us. Unfortunately, these days, it is a common practice for contractors to prey on customers who know little to nothing about their profession. This is NOT the case with Mr. Rooter. Highly Recommend!!!

He showed up right after I called and came out at night. He had all the tools to figure out what was wrong. He had an auger and a camera. The camera showed that the line collapsed.

He solved the problem, but dumped all the stuff from the pipes into the hedge by the driveway so it was running on the driveway and because it was hot outside it started to smell bad. I have yet to hear from service manager about clean up. I will not use them again.

Answered phone (more than my regular plumber did) Confirmed job would be done today and I was third in line Provided time I could expect plumber Plumber arrived before agreed time - No problem! Email arrived showing plumbers name and picture so I knew what to expect. Surveyed job Presented what I believe was an inflated price ($3-$4 copper elbow was marked up x4 etc) I was in a jam on a Saturday with a leaking main line in my house - what do I say? "No...I am going to shop around" Did not want to attempt myself because the main shutoff is 50 years old - if it failed I would be sunk. $600 later I had a pleasant experience and the job was done correctly.

When I started my central a/c, it was only blowing room temp air in the house. Not cooling. I called our local electric/gas company with whom I had a contract. They came out and decided I had a leak in a coil in the furnace that could not be repaired or replaced since my system is 14 years old. I was told I needed a completely new a/c condenser and furnace. And they knew this because I had no refrigerant in the system. It had evidently leaked out. I proceeded to call 2 Lennox (the brand I have) dealers. Both of them from Angie's List. R. Poust was the second one. The first dealer came out, never tested anything and told me it was the evaporator coil in the furnace. Could not be repaired or replaced. I needed a new system he told me (this was the owner). I asked if the leak could be somewhere else. He told me 90% of all refrigerant leaks are in the coil....and it would be very complicated and time consuming to find the leak. The next day, Jason from R. Poust came out. I explained the problem to him. The first thing he did was set up a pressure test. He immediately found the leak...a hole in the copper tubing outside the house running from the a/c unit. Within 15 minutes he had repaired it. He added refrigerant (very expensive!!), checked to make sure everything was running properly..even testing air temperature from the registers. So, within 1-1/2 hours from the time he arrived, I had a fully functional system. The cost of $1100 ($750 was the refrigerant refill) was nothing compared to what I might have had to pay for the "needed" complete system replacement (probably about $10,000). I plan to purchase a yearly maintenance contract with R. Poust. Obviously I HIGHLY recommend them!

The plumber that they sent came in the worst snow storm and he was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

We recently purchased a house and remodeled 2 baths and a kitchen. Kyle and his crew showed up promptly, were neat courteous and professional, explained all the issues and everything was done perfectly.

We were very pleased with their professionalism from measuring the rooms and sizing the units through installation and final testing. Communication by the office staff was excellent - they arranged all necessary permits and appointments and kept me informed step by step. Installers came when promised, were courteous, neat and obviously experienced. The work was finished on time, all inspections passed on the first round, and everything works fine- couldn't ask for more .

Within 20 minutes of my initial phone call to the answering service, the business owner called me back to set up the arrangements. 15 minutes later the lead technician that was to perform the service called to let me know his appx time of arrival (within the hour) Techs. Joe and Andre were prompt, professional and performed the task expeditiously. A video camera inspection was performed with this service to uncover any other issues that may have been present and a $20 non-expiring coupon for my next service was presented upon payment of the bill. (The "B" rating on the price is only because the price was average, not stellar...but the service was!)

Fast and easy. Entire repair took about an hour total. Professional and courtious.

Great. Serviced entire central air unit for the season, then replaced the thermostat as a covered part at no extra charge. Highly recommended.

Came home on 7/17/13 to find 2nd floor was very hot. I went outside to inspect condenser and unit was not running. I went to R. Poust's website at 10:00pm and submitted a service request. Given the recent heat wave, I was concerned about how long it would take to get a service call, so I submitted a similar request on another company's website. Apparently I had no reason to be concerned! Received a call 7:30am next day and was given a window of 3:00 - 5:00 same day! Technician quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the capacitor. He was very friendly and courteous. Overall this was an excellent experience!

Everything went very smoothly. Someone actually answered the phone when I called and they had someone over here that afternoon. Everyone was very professional. The young man, Kyle, looked everything over and gave us an estimate before he left. I called the next day to schedule the work to be done and Kyle was here the following day. Did a wonderful job and I would definitely use them again.

We've used R Poust in the past and they have always been consistent. In this latest job they showed up right on time and were nothing but professional. They kept me informed on their progress and gave me an estimated completion time that they met. They made sure everything was working properly and completely cleaned up after themselves. I've recommended this company to others and they've had nothing but good experiences with them as well. HIGHLY recommended.

I called with a badly clogged kitchen sink drain and the serviceman Kyle arrived within 20 minutes. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and neat, got right to work ,explaining everything to me. He fixed the problem and gave me recommendations. I was very pleased with everything. The price is based on the job rather than by the hour and since it didn't take long(about an hour) it seemed a bit high. It was worth it to me to have it fixed so quickly and efficiently. I'd definitely call them again.

A/C did not cope with the very hot weather the previous weekend (100F). The A/C unit fan motor was actually running in reverse (blowing down and not up). Found that one of the wires had been trapped under the cover and shorted on the unit causing reverse polarity. Fixed wire, checked the gas in the unit. All was OK. Dodged the bullet of replacing the unit so was very happy. All fixed with quickly and on time.

They were very good. The gentleman also fixed an outdoor faucet for me while he was here. He was personable, he was professional, he came when he said he would, he was in and out, and he got the job done. I didn’t have any complications and I would recommend them to others.

In response to the contractor. I did speak with you at that time.That's the reason the unit was changed. This is not the first time you heard of the problem. Incident's like this make people join Angie's List looking for fair honest Contractors.

They were punctual. They came out when they said they would, but we didn’t use them. I had a bad experience with them.

They are always on time and do a very good job. They are professional and answer all of our questions. They have a great service and the guys are always courteous to the house. They are in and out and keep everything running very well. I would recommend them to other people.
