He also gave us some tips to get our home ready for sale. He went above and beyond what we expected. We didn't end up using him, but we were greatly appreciative of all of his assistance. He was a bit higher than another company, and since we were moving we just went with the cheaper option. He was also going to re-caulk the bathroom tubs. We are considering using him for other fixes now the the home is listed for sale!

Overall I was very satisfied with the work.

Although Glenn/Happy Handyman provided us an estimate, it was his attitude, follow-through and knowledge that would motivate me to hire him for a future project.

I'm getting my house ready to sell. It needed a lot of work but I was wary of spending too much money. I originally contacted Happy Handyman to power wash the house, but then found out they could repair my deck as well. This is something I was going to try to do myself. I realized, though, that they could do a much better job (and faster, too). A two-man crew showed up on time and let me walk them around the house to show them what needed to be done. While one man started the power washing, the other one (a skilled carpenter) got to work on the deck. The repairs needed were more extensive than we realized, but the crew made sure to get authorization from me before proceeding. They also made some suggestions on low-cost, but effective repairs they could do. The entire time, they kept in mind my goal of getting the house looking as nice as possible for sale, but keeping my costs low as well. The work was completed over two days. Although they used much more wood then they thought they would need (and the extra labor hours that became necessary), the final bill was only about $100 more than the estimate. Overall, I was very happy with the work performed. They did a great job on getting a ~24 year old deck looking closer to new. And the house is sparkling clean! I would definitely use Happy Handyman again and recommend them to anyone needed general handyman services.

Scott from Happy Handyman was friendly and professional. Even though my project was small & simple, they did excellent work and clean up after themselves. I will use them again in the future.

We just moved into our home in December. With buying a home it is expected some issues may arise. Some past major rain storms and windy weather have revealed a leak in our family room's roof. Happy Handyman Service was called in the morning and they were at my home before the afternoon fixing the issue. Their responsiveness was very impressive. Their concern was that more rain was on the way and they wanted to get someone out as soon as possible to address the issue for us. When they got to my home, they showed and explained to my husband what the issue was. Since I was not at home at the time, they also called me to inform me of what they found and what they had to do to resolve the issue. We have had some rain since they fixed our roof and we are expecting a big downpour but we are not worried. This next rain storm will let us know for sure if the issue is totally resolved, but I believe it is. Happy Handyman Service offers a variety of services for the home. We were very pleased with their service and will definitely use them in the future for any other projects or issues with our home. Their prices are very fair and reasonable, and their quality service made us feel comfortable enough to already recommend them to some of our friends.

They were extremely responsive and very tolerant. We had arranged a time for them to come out which was convenient for us. An hour before our appointment we had to cancel due to the wrong shingles. We ordered the shingles and had them delivered to Lowe's and they picked them up for us. They were very accommodating. They put the extra shingles away in the shed for us when they were done. They were really nice.

They made everything match, cleaned up after themselves and paid great attention to detail. They came back multiple times until they got it exactly right. They even did some extra work. They were fantastic - I have used them a lot. I would even go so far as to say that they are perfectionists. They do a fantastic job at the right price. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, I have got more work for them in store.

Glenn was great to work with. We had him come out for an estimate post home-inspection and he went through the inspection report carefully and noted what items he could address, found some non-issues, and explained the work he would do. He provided a reasonable estimate, which we used in our pre-closing negotiation. After closing, we hired Glenn to complete the job (mostly the exterior work) and also hired him to take care of a few things inside the house as well. He was responsive to communication both by phone and text, even responding late in the evening if he couldn't get back to me during the day. He was very thorough in his explanations, and let us know when the weather forced a change of schedule. One thing Glenn went above and beyond with was going on the final walk-through prior to closing. I got very sick the day of the walk-through and could not make it there but Glenn accompanied my wife and Realtor and was very helpful. We have quickly come to trust Glenn's work and recommendations for other service professionals as well, and we have other Angie's List reviewers to thank for our finding him.

They were excellent. They showed up on time, and stayed on budget. They brought the materials needed with them, and were efficient and professional. We loved the results.

Glenn and his team are exceptional at every level. From initial contact, they were crisp and prompt with their communication, clearly setting expectations and exceeding them. Glenn procured the required materials and put us at ease along the way. They added a number of items as value-added, far beyond what was reasonable. To top it off, my toddler son even likes him. I look forward to continuing to work with him and recommend him to all.

Our job was quoted and finished in 9 days; we were on a fast-track and Glen's company worked efficiently and quickly to get it done. I did have to follow up to get the quote and schedule the work. Unfortunately Glen was injured/hospitalized (not on our job) so Glen's wife and brother (his business partner) became the points of communication and followed up to see if we were happy with the job. Overall we had a good experience; my husband is quite particular and was happy with the quality of the work.

They are very personable and they get the work done fast. Their price is reasonable. They are responsive and when we call they get back to us quickly. They do a good job.

I called Glenn to arrange for the installation of two closet organizer systems. He immediately arranged for his brother, Scott, to come over to give an estimate. On the day arranged for the work, Scott and his co-worker David arrived, having first called to tell me when they would arrive. They did the job efficiently and professionally. The job took a little longer than the initial estimate, but that was because the closet system needed that amount of time to be installed securely. I was concerened about my new hardwood floors, and they laid drop cloths from front door, up the stairs, to the closet so that everything was protected. When they were done they cleaned up everything. I am very pleased with the job they did, and will use them again if I need anything done. Scott and David certainly live up to the name Happy Handyman because they were pleasant and cheerful throughout.

The new kitchen came our wonderfully. Happy handyman (Glenn) has nice, trustworthy people working with him. Very responsive to phone calls and requests. He was always professional and committed to doing things the correct way. The project did not go quickly for various reasons, most out of the contractor's control, but we are very pleased with the results and would hire again without hesitation.

We had called Happy Handyman service man to help us with our bathroom upgrades. After I had replaced the shower stall, I realized that it was a little bigger then the old one, and I didn't know how to make it all fit so that it would look good. Glen (Happy Handyman service) was able to extend the wall around the shower stall so that it looked like a perfect fit. All the work done (including the painting, tiles, installing the toilet, vanity, moulding, and cabinets) was done with very high quality and our bathroom now looks great! I was very pleased with the work done and with his attention to detail. I definitely recommend him and will use his services again!

Excellent job. Neat and professional repair of damaged taping at seams of drywall. Also repaired popped nail heads. Completed work made the pre-existing imperfections disappear. Paint job was professional also - painter took special care not to splash or drip paint on the finished woodwork (multiple windows and doors.) or the floor. The painter and an assistant cleaned up thoroughly after work was completed. This is the second time I have used this company (the first was for siding repairs) and results were excellent both times.I certainly recommend them.

He really is a happy handyman. He's great guy, he provides excellent service and his subcontractors are all good, too.

The office staff at Happy Handyman LLC was very courteous, and confirmed the date and approximate time for my estimate. Glenn arrived when promised and spent approximately 45 minutes detailing the work to be performed and offering helpful repair suggestions. Glenn's visit was very pleasant and non-rushed, and he answered all my questions cheerfully. The office staff followed up with a detailed man/hour and cost breakdown of the work required, delivered via email, and later a friendly follow-up telephone call to confirm my understanding of the estimate. Although I did not have the required work performed by this company, I felt confident that Glenn and his company would have competently completed the job. In summary I would have no hesitation recommending Happy Handyman LLC due to their responsive service to prospective customers, and for exhibiting attention to detail in their business matters.

Long story short: We are ecstatic over the quality of the work and service from Happy Handyman LLC of South Plainfield, N.J., and the price -- a little less than $600 for a mostly plumbing repair job that took more than an afternoon. (We realize other plumbers or handymen may have charged $1,000 or so for this work.)Here are the details: The owner of Happy Handyman Service answered the phone on a Saturday morning when we called in search of a plumber who could fix the bathroom sink leak. He sent a licensed plumber out by noon to assess the problem and go buy the hardware to fix it. Later in the afternoon, Glenn Mudrick, the owner of Happy Handyman, stopped by to see how the work was going. It turned out to be much more complicated than just replacing the worn-out sink stopper and fixing a leak in the pipe directly below it. Other pipes were rotted. This was difficult to fix because the vanity was a built-in older wooden model and could not just be pulled out from the wall. So Mr. Mudrick -- yes, the OWNER - the Happy Handyman himself -- stepped in to help his worker, the plumber who arrived earlier in the day, with the onerous job of removing the rotted pipe and replacing it. Our water had to be turned off, of course. And the repair job could not be completed that day because of the amount of work needed to maneuver in that tight, older vanity space and the time needed to replace the sections of rotted pipe. ** Glenn Mudrick could not have been more charming. He said he would try to get someone back on Sunday, if that plumber happened to be available, and if not, then he would be back himself on Monday to finish the job. As it turned out, the plumber wasn't available on Sunday. Glenn Mudrick came back on Monday afternoon with another worker to finish the job. He followed up later in the week to see if the repair was holding and complete one more small item on our "to do" list. He gave us excellent work and service for an extremely reasonable price. His services include all repair work and "honey do" chores that need to be done around the home. We will definitely use his services year round and recommend him to all of our friends and family in the area! Overall grade: A-plus-plus-PLUS!
