Al's at Home Repair

I hired him rearrange my kitchen cabinets to accommodate my new fridge. I was satisfied with his work.

My project was a basic maintenance item and didn t give Al an opportunity to use broad skills. I appreciate his responsiveness and thank him for getting the job done.

I hired Al to repair damaged drywall in my home. He and his partner were able to patch and sand the wall. The job took longer than expected, but they were able to complete my request. I am satisfied with the job they were able to do. I could've paid more to get the job done professionally, but I just needed the job done. I would hire Al again to do small work around the house if I cannot do it myself.

Very bad workmanship I can't express this enough. Does not work clean nor clean up after. I hired Al to repair a water damaged window frame and surrounding wall. While the interior drywall was down, I also had the old (Low R-rating), insulation replaced with better insulation, hang new drywall and paint. I also had planned to use him for additional repair work but released him before he could do any more damage. In the process of these repairs Al and his crew, broke the the windows Vinyl frame, splattered my floor with paint and Spackle, and damaged my floor by peeling off some of the laminate (the floor was installed 4 years ago). I am currently repairing the window and door molding that was replaced sloppily and crooked during the repairs. While removing this molding on the window that was repaired, the window sill-plate (the 2 x 4 that the actual window is supposed to sit on) came off with the molding (apparently only attached by 2 drywall screws toe-nailed in to make it appear it was properly attached). I am currently looking for another contractor to repair the badly installed window frame. Do yourself a favor, avoid this guy at all costs.

Took care of small-but-crucial repairs around the house quickly and well. Would hire again!

Not neat. Clean up was partial. Did not put things back in place. Dissatisfied with the job.

Came to give an estimate, which was very reasonable. They started the job immediately & finished it satisfactorily that same afternoon.

This was just a quick job moving some heavy packages. This site requires that I rate the" quality" of the work. Packages of garden dirt were moved successfully from point A to point B. I cannot rate the "quality" of this work. It got done. I rated it "3" because the site forced me to put in a rating. This was just a quick job moving some heavy packages. Al was friendly and easily accessible by phone, came as promised, did the work, and charged as agreed. I would hire him again for a similar job.
