Wade's Landscaping & Snow Removal LLC

Wade and his men did a decent job on my lawn. However, I am not rehiring Wade because of how he does business. This is the story: Each week, after they worked on my lawn, Wade placed a bill in my mailbox. I ALWAYS paid it immediately, online, from my bank with a bank check. Then he would send a summary invoice, from time to time. The first invoice I received was accompanied by a statement saying I owed about $700 and that he was reporting me to a credit company. I told him how mistaken he was and showed him my bank statement that included the date of each payment and the amount. He claimed there was confusion with my name as I use two names. But that confusion must have remained with him for the rest of the year as the accusations in writing continued with each invoice, even though I paid right away in full. Once that was cleared one time, you would think they would correct their book keeping. But every single invoice he sent had the same threats and claim that I owed more money, even though I paid each bill in full as soon as I received it. Never an apology or even an admission of being mistaken, or of falsely accusing me. There is more to a business relationship than just doing the work. To have a person I hire mess up their book keeping and not see it or admit it, and to be made victim to the upset of those written accusations that have not one iota of truth, is too upsetting to me to rehire him. I do NOT recommend this company, unless you do not mind being accused even though you pay right away. I rated this company an F because of how they disregarded me and almost caused me to lose my good name and good credit rating. "A good name is chosen above great wealth; good favor over silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1 That is even more important than how they cut a lawn.

There aren’t enough words for the amazing work that Wade and his team performed! I cannot believe that I lucked into having such an amazing landscaper. Wade showed up for the first part of the job (dead brush removal from the backyard and sides of the house) in ONE day after our initial phone call. The job he did was amazing - the backyard was wonderfully clear and there was absolutely no overgrown brush on the side of my house. Further, he went above and beyond and cleared everything that was really my neighbor’s responsibility (the no-man’s land in between their garage and my property line). Then came the front yard....no small feat, no small feat at all. The HUGE trees that I loved for the 20 years that I’ve been in my house were very ill and needed to be removed. That also left a dire need for a landscaping overhaul of the front yard. Wade accommodated the emotional distress the removal of these trees caused me and checked in with me every step of the way. Then, with every ounce of encouragement he had available, we worked on a vision I had for the front yard. I worked with a local nursery and presented Wade with my sketches. He offered a lot of input and together we designed them most beautiful front yard my neighborhood has seen. Truly -my house is now the most beautiful landscaped and designed front yard on the block (dare I say in a 20 block radius). All of this was done in only TWO WEEKS. The change was amazing. I have attached before and after pictures of the front yard. I still drive up to my house in wonder and appreciation. I never once had to chase Wade to determine if he was coming by, if there was a change in any start date, or if there was a reason for any delay. He was the consummate professional, and thoroughly proactive with his outreach. I can’t wait for us to get to the backyard next year!

I was very happy with the service. Wade gave me the estimate in person, and was on site with his crew for all of the work. He was helpful with deciding what work to tackle, and the best way to go about it. The entire job, including removal of a large tree, a number of saplings, bushes and shrubs, as well as stump grinding for all of them was completed in one visit. I've also retained them as my weekly gardener for lawn mowing and maintenance, and will be using them for gutter cleaning and other services throughout the year.

Excellent, Wade and his crew met and exceeded our expectations.

$40 per visit, every other week. The price is on the higher side of average for the work and location. Most charge between $30-40. Negatives: The owner could use a better note/message return system, as I have gotten return calls twice with no idea who he was speaking to or why. Positives: Having said that, in person the owner (who supervises the work himself) and all of his workers are very professional and friendly, and easy to communicate with. The work is always done on time and fully cleaned up after. I would definitely recommend them.

Wade runs his business with honesty and integrity. He and his team were punctual and extremely professional. What impressed me was not only the high quality of the work, but that Wade actually came to the job in person, and even helped his team out. This is unheard of, you never see the owner once the estimate is done, let alone working on a job. It was evident that Wade treats his team well, they have mutual respect for each other and seem like a happy bunch. I also had plenty of questions about tree and shrub care, and Wade patiently provided excellent information. Also, despite the fact that Wade is extremely busy and my job was relatively small, he could not have been nicer. Highly recommended :-)

We hired Wade to clean up all the "landscaping" at a home we had recently purchased, which had been uncared for, for 8+ years. Wade showed up on time for the estimate, reviewed all the work that needed to be done, and gave us a written quote on the spot. We really liked his personality and demeanor, and he gave us all our options at a reasonable price. So, we hired Wade immediately. The work involved a massive cleanup of our property, including removing two fruit trees, multiple overgrown bushes, cutting down weeds and encroaching branches on trees from adjacent neighbors, and leveling out our front lawn. The job took place over several days. Everyone in Wade's crew was friendly, personable, and did a great job. Wade was there each day overseeing the project and helping with the work. We liked him so much we decided to purchases a bi-weekly lawn care plan from him. That lawn care has been going well! We will also be reaching out to him to create a new landscaping plan for our house once the external home renovations are complete.

It was not perfect. The appointment was made, he did not show up and he did not call. When we called him, he said something came up yesterday, I'm still on another job and I can't come to you today. I would never have known that if I hadn't called him because he didn't call me. When we rescheduled, he and his people arrived without all of the equipment that they needed to do what was expected of them. They didn't have an edger and they were supposed to do edging. They seemed more intense on hacking away at everything they could rather than following our explicit directions on what needed to be trimmed and what didn't. I would not recommend them. It was not meant to be a precise type job but there were instructions that were not 100% followed. The price is very good.

Excellent! Wade and crew took the time to ensure all areas we wanted were mulched and happy before finished. We wanted boulders put in front of our fence. Wade made sure the sizing and placement of each boulder was perfect! Could not be happier. Wade was very responsive. Also, all for a great price!

Good job all around. On time and no hard upselling

Wade and crew were great. Wade came out to give a quote, which was a fair price. And Wade was out himself doing the work w/ the crew. They went over and beyond to ensure we were satisfied customers. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Once again, a superb job was done by Wade and his crew ! I contacted Wade to ask if he could do the clean up the week of 11/2/15 since the town would be doing leaf pick up on my street early this year. He contacted me right away & once again, he said " No problem". We made the appointment for Thursday 11/5. His crew was at my house when I went home for lunch around 2 PM & were nearly done already !. They did a fantastic job ! The shrubs and yard never looks so good ! It was right out of a home magazine ! You couldn't find one leaf on the place ! The town came the next day for pick up, so Wade made it possible for me to meet that deadline ! Since I will be putting my house on the market, the landscaping & leaf clean up they did gave it great curb appeal ! I will use Wade's company again & recommend them to everybody ! If you need quality landscaping at a great price, call Wade ! You can't go wrong.

I expected a quicker and more direct response from the company offering the service and ultimately decided not to go forward with the project. I sent specific notes describing the 6 hour maximum small project and in fairness, if I would have attached a .jpg file it would probably have helped them. I did not do that. Next time I will. Thank you.

Wade's came to our house for a fall clean up 2 years ago through an Angie's List offer and has been our landscaper since then for all our clean up and weekly lawn maintenance - great guys, punctual, quick and all around great work! Our yard has many trees, shrubs and hardscape, so it's a lot of work to clean up and they do a great job, which makes spring clean up a breeze. Highly recommend Wade's.

Wade did a good job, and explained what had to be fixed that was outside of his area of expertise -- a rotted fascia board behind the gutter had to be replaced by a carpenter. He and his team were punctual, honest and did an honest, solid job.

He was very easy to work with, even added a bush, no problem. I would use them again.

The team of 3 arrived on time and got right to work. This was very hard tough labor. The garden bed was filled with intertwined roots and rocks. They worked diligently for 2 hours and completed the work. I would definitely use them again.

Wade arrived on time with two of his guys which gave them 2 hours to get our list of tasks done. They were able to do everything we wanted. Wade is easy to work with. He listened to me and got everything done that I asked for. We actually added a few things while they were here and they were able to fit them in. They also cleaned up all the debris. Our yard looks great. I would definitely not hesitate to bring Wade and his guys back for other projects.

Very satisfied in the project

Wade provided a written estimate on weeding and edging the perimeter of yard. Mostly, clearing out the opportunistic weeds that had taken over. He went above and beyond what he was asked to do including weeding the back side of the property mowing.

Arrived on time, went right to work. Two people did a great job of cleaning up the yard. Would hire them again.

I was a bit anxious at first because I needed my garden rototilled ASAP. But, due to weather conditions, I had to wait. I am extremely happy with the work that was done. I had mulched leaves covering the garden. That has all been turned under and the ground is ready for planting. Don't have to rake it out like I have in the past with others doing the job. The hedges were getting out of control and now look wonderful. Beautiful job. I may have been a pain at first contact but Wade was truly a professional to take care of my concerns and my yard. I have other projects to do and I'm sure I will contact them in the future.

Wade and his crew removed a tremendous amount of overgrown flowers, bushes and trees in the front of my yard, side of my house and in the backyard. They also regraded soil around the house, planted grass seed, transplanted 3 rose bushes from the back yard to the front yard, installed 4 basement window covers and planted 2 knockout rose bushes and sunflower seeds that I bought. Wade and his crew always showed up on time and worked the whole day through. This project took about 2 days. He was always professional and was honest with me so I wouldn't waste money. One day he was working and noticed that the lights in the backyard and side of the house wasn't working. He told me that if I bought the light bulbs he would install them for me. I was soo happy with his work that I am going to use him again to clean my gutters and trim the bushes off the roof of the garage.
