Description of Work: Approximately a week before Hurricane Sandy I contacted Vito's to quote me on 2 trees needed partial trimming at my mother's home in Bergen County. (I live down the Shore). A nice woman called back about a week later and I told her that due to the storm damage and lack of power it would have to wait. She called again a few days later and I told her that we were still in bad shape down here. We made arrangements shortly after to have my husband to be at the house to meet her boss for a quote There was a 2 hour window. My husband was there 3 hours and no one showed up. No one called to cancel the appointment. She was persistent in following up to set up an appointment and would be an asset to most employers. I would never contact this company again or recommend them due to the unprofessional manner on her boss' part, by not showing up for the appointment and not calling us to cancel. I never heard from them again

Description of Work: We called Vito Tree Care; they got back to us but said they only did work in Bergen County. (they should be clear that they do not do work in Manhattan)

Description of Work: I called a few places for information and made an appointment for an estimate with this company. Chuck, the manager, came over the next day to discuss what I wanted to have done. I originally planned to only have some large branches cut but after assessing the situation (the tree was leaning over my house) and speaking with Chuck, I decided to have the entire tree removed. Chuck was accommodating and he gave me a good price to cut down a very large tree. Gave me an extra $100 off (which is mentioned in their ad in the phone book). They came with 2 large trucks (with a crane) and the 4 guys did the job within a few hours. They also trimmed a large Dogwood tree at no extra charge.
