They were prompt. I found them to be okay, but I had a problem with the tile work that they did. They dropped cement in the drain and it got clogged. It turned out to be a big problem. I had to open up the ceiling again. They didn?t even fix it. Their price was okay, though.
Description of Work: I used John Sortino & Son Co. to do some tile work for my shower. They also repaired some walls.

The project went very well. The first task was the breaking up of the existing concrete, brick, and asphalt. John then prepared the bedding for the concrete paver blocks in the pattern designed by an architect. He then laid the paver blocks taking great care to maintain a continuous slope from the front portico to the existing front sidewalk. The paver blocks in the portico area were laid at a shallower slope (1/8 inch per foot to give the feeling of a level floor). He poured a concrete entrance-way at the garage doors which matched the elevation of the paver blocks at the front portico. He then brought in three truck loads of crushed stone to build up the driveway to match the elevation of the paver block walkway. The subcontractor spread the crushed stone and compacted it with heavy rollers and tampers, before applying the 2" thick hot asphalt to finish grade. The end result was that the whole area was at the same level with a consistent drainage pitch.
Description of Work: John removed and replaced our blacktop driveway 19 x 40 ft and after adding new stone for adequate pitch, replace it with asphalt. He also simultaneously removed the concrete and brick entrance portico and a shallow step. He then constructed a new entrance patio and a walkway with concrete paver blocks leading from the front door to the front sidewalk and adjacent to the driveway. He projected the amount of time it would take to complete the project and he was right on.
