I had carpet installed in August this year in my basement. Installers did ok job from what I thought. We were happy with the carpet until we were vaccuuming the other day and it pull up a seam where the carpet was put together. I called to empire and was told it was not covered under warranty because I used a VACUUM on carpet! How embarrassing! It’s either an install or product defect. We’re very let down this this. Do not use empire! Their products suck!! Feel free to message me for pictures of the job!

I cancelled the order. We scheduled the installation out several weeks to be sure that it would be done in one day. I got three calls and emails over the past few days to ensure I would be here in the morning and to confirm the installation. This morning, I got an automated call saying we would be the second stop. At 10:15, I called asking where they were. I was told, “20 minutes”. At 11:45 I called again and was told they were just finishing up and would be on their way. At 12:45, I got a call from the installer saying he would be here in 20 minutes. I called again at 1:15 and was told they were just finishing up and would be here soon. They finally came at 2:45 and told me they could not do this in one day. I told them to leave and I cancelled the order. I had a reservation in a local hotel since we were told we could not walk on the new floor for 24 hours. We lost the deposit for that. While Empire is returning my deposit, I have lost a lot of money today due to appointments I had to refuse, not to mention the hotel deposit. I cannot recommend Empire to anyone.

They are excellent and did a very good job. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I was completely satisfied with the work performed. The workers arrived on time & ready to to do the job - removing carpet from 2 rooms and installing wood floors. The men were respectful of my things and cleaned up the work area before leaving. The job was completed in 1 day. The floors are beautiful. I plan to have them back to do more rooms.
