The provider arrived at my home after 9 PM although my appointment was scheduled for a window of between 5 & 7 PM. His equipment was set up outside the front entrance to my home. It was late, my neighborhood is quiet and it is a work night. The noise from the equipment hummed until 11:30 PM. It was loud and unbearable. The actual cleaning was simply just fair.

Prior to the cleaning, my communications with Pro clean were satisfactory. The man who came was polite and mild mannered. He arrived during the appointed time window. It was clear he wanted to do a good job. However, before he started his work, he asked me to sign a contract. When I had questions about the contract he was asking me to sign, he told me he was unable to answer them because his English was not strong. He also asked me to pay tax on top of the Angie's List Big Deal I purchased. However there were no details on my purchase about tax not being included. I contacted Angie's List to ask them what to do, they were helpful in suggesting that I ask for an invoice and then have them investigate. Unfortunately, through the language barrier, I am not sure he understood this. He gave me a number to call, but there was just a voice mail. He then told me to call another number in a couple hours in Washington to discuss the tax issue. I will leave the details of the Big Deal to the folks at Angie's List to resolve. The employee did his due diligence in requesting the tax, however I feel there should have been someone at a main office available to help him with the tax issues and my other questions. As for the actual work, it seems to have been performed satisfactorily. However, due to the language barrier, he did not understand my questions about whether the amount of lint removed was normal or if I had waited too long to have the dryer vent cleaned. I was also asked to provide a trash bag and to dispose of the trash. Most service people I have encountered do their own clean up. When the work was done, the service man asked to use my bathroom. He was in there for a long time with the water running. When I went in after he left, it looked like he had given himself a sponge bath and water had been splattered all over the floor. I had to then clean the bathroom after he left. I will not be using this company in the future.

The provider arrived on time, on schedule, and did a thorough job.

He came on time and cleaned inside and outside dryer vents.

Prompt, professional phone contact and scheduling. The technician was running late, but I called and he was on his way. He was thorough, skilled and clean.

My appointment was for 3:30 but he ended up showing up at 3:45. Even though they were late, they did give me a call to let me know they had got stuck on a previous job. I watched him snake the dryer vent from the inside to the out. He went outside to clarify that it was working, it was. It did not take very long so it went as well as expected. The worker was not very personable. He was there solely for business. The only complaint that I really have is the fact that they tack on a tax fee at the end of the service. Even though it was a small amount of tax, it was still a surprise to have an additional fee.

It went fine. They did it quickly. They worked with my schedule and were in and out. They didn't necessarily clean up super well after themselves. It was in an unfinished basement, so it wasn't as big a deal as if it was a finished area. There was drier vent little fuzzies all over. So they got it out of the vent but then they left some of it around. It was a very minor detail, I was mostly satisfied with their service. If I had a finished basement I would have been a lot more upset, then it would have been in an area people go into. There were no more charges beyond the big deal amount.

Horrible experience !!! Michael , a representative of the company, came to perform the work as scheduled. First off he left the front door open and one of my rescue dogs was able to leave the house and run free around the neighborhood. After I had realized he had gotten loose, I had to ride around the neighborhood to look for him and also, let the neighbor to keep a eye out for him ! Luckily, he was returned by a jogger (also a dog lover) safely ! I immediately called the company to complain and the man I spoke to said it wasn't the company's responsibility to make sure the door was closed. I also complained the worker did not clean the fireplace as expected. He then sent the same worker to the house to clean the firebox. I reluctantly agreed. however when the worker returned , after approx. twenty minutes, I was informed , he could not clean the firebox. I again called the company and spoke with the same man to complain. He never picked up the telephone. I then left a message to voice my complaint. He, to date, has not returned my telephone message. VERY DISAPPOINTED !! I would never use or recommend this company to anyone !!!!!!

They were punctual. They knew what they were doing. I would use them again!

They were really good. They came when they said they would and they did a nice job. They explained everything and they were very nice and polite. I would use them again in the future.

It went very well. There was a little bit of water leaking in the garage. They came on time and did their thing.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. The work was done as expected. I was happy with it.

The gentleman arrives and I show him to the laundry room. (on 2nd floor) I already had my Angie's List pre-paid Big Deal voucher printed and ready. He shows me the agreement and tries to get me to sign. When I want to review it, he says "No. You sign while I clean. You hold me up." This was a bit annoying, but it's just a dryer vent, not electrical or plumbing work. I provided him with a trash bag and a vacuum cleaner so he can catch whatever he snakes out of the vent. When he finished, we review what he did and I sign off on it. He then asks to use the restroom. I point him to the hall bath, which is a guest bath. Immediately the water starts running, which I thought was odd, but maybe he wanted to muffle noise. (there is a ventilation fan in there, but whatever) He was in there a full 5 minutes with the facet running the whole time. I hear snorts and spitting. He finally flushes and the water stops. He comes out and is soaked head to toe. (hair, arms, face, back of his shirt, etc.) He says "Thank you. It is very hot today." I was dumbfounded. It turns out he took a 5-minute "sponge bath" in the sink of the guest bathroom. There was water all over the counter & floor, all of the guest hand towels were use, etc. And the room smelled like I do after mowing the lawn. (pungent) So I had to clean the bathroom after he left. I'm not sure which European country the gentleman was from, but his action of bathing himself on a hot day in my guest bath sink and leaving it a mess was not appreciated and just not... um... cool. Not cool at all. I will not use this service again.

Everything was exceptional. Punctual, professional, polite efficient, and responsive. It was a pleasure to deal with this group and we will use them again.

He did arrive late because his truck broke down, but his professionalism more than made up for it.

ProClean Cleaning Services was okay. I'm happy, so it's okay. I'm neutral on that. Their quality met my expectations. The guy was professional.

Unfortunately this did not go well. My dryer was working before this all started. The service professional was polite but needed direction from us as to where the dryer venter out of the house. According to a later contractor we successfully hired (Duct Dudes) he should have been able to figure this out himself, which was an issue since my husband didn't know which "vent" was the one for the dryer. Anyway, after an hour of diligent work, the man said that he couldn't reach the entire pipe with his equipment and therefore was only able to clean out part of it (nearest the dryer). Keep in mind this vent is only about 10 feet long. We learned the next day that the dryer was not working properly and overheating, so we couldn't use it. I called Duct Dudes who tried to clean the vent from the outside, but they could not even get their equipment through the vent at all, concluding that the vent pipe had been BROKEN. I then had to call my contractor who cut 5 holes in my basement walls and ceiling to learn that, in fact, the vent was broken, but there was no debris in the ceiling, and the dryer had been working prior to the first "cleaning" - so the break must have occurred during the cleaning process. Furthermore, my contractor advised that all of the lint from the "cleaned out" portion had simply been stuffed further down the vent pipe, creating a plug, which was why the dryer was overheating, not to mention causing a massive fire risk that could have burned down my house. My contractor cleared the plug and reattached the vent pipe, after which Duct Dudes (very happy with them!) concluded their cleaning - they came back a second time for no extra charge. This is going to cost me well over $1,000 to repair the damage.

They were fine. They did the work, it was relatively quick, I think they must have been on the side for half an hour, maybe 3 quarters of an hour. They certainly cleaned up afterwards. They gave me a fluff from the dryer vent to put in the bin so I guess the belt was clean, it really was fine. I can't think of anything that I would have them improved on. I have no basis for comparison on price. They showed up on time, they did the work, they cleaned up nicely, my dryer is working fine, that's all I know.

I did not have a great experience with the service. I never got the furnance inspection and I had to supply my vaccuum to him to help clean. I believe I got ripped off. I was not happy and I will not recommend them to others. I had a language barrier issue also. They also included tax and this was not in the fine print.

I just purchased a new home and felt I should get the chimney and dryer vent cleaned out. It only took them 45 minutes to do the work. They came in, and did the work fairly quickly. There was a language barrier.

We purchased the carpet cleaning special. First off, we didn't realize there was a difference between carpet and rugs. Once they came into the house a saw the rugs, they told us we did not have carpet and the special did not apply. They told us for more money we can still get our rugs clean. We agreed since they were dirty and they were already here. We have oriental rugs in the house and were ignorant of how these rugs should be professionally cleaned. However, we would have expected the cleaning service would know and informed us. Also, they didn't even spot check to see if the color would change with the chemicals they were using. They did the rugs and one beautiful rug ended up with big washed out spots. It was an expensive lesson for us. Our bad for not doing further research on this.

There was lot of build up in the dryer vent in my new home and required a thorough cleaning, it was done in a very professional manner and now I can finally use my dryer. Great job ProClean...

The job went very well. The only problem that I experienced was that the folding doors to the laundry closet on the first floor were put back on with a space between them that was way too wide. I didn't notice the problem until long after the gentleman had left. I had to have a friend help adjust them.
