Mark's Landscaping & Gutter Cleaning

When we hired him in March he told us he would come three times a month for lawn maintenance and as of March until today he has only shown up nine (9) times , when he should of shown for 15 times. We call him and he says he will show up and he doesn’t. We paid until the month of December thinking he would be honest and do his job but he didn’t. My lawn is full of weed and bees. I can’t even use my backyard. He is so unreliable. Never again!!!

Since early last year, I have been experiencing a water problem caused by two neighbors' excavating their rear yards, both of which are graded higher than property. Muddy ponding occurs in the rear driveway in front of my garage from rain and pool run-off. The past two months have been very rainy and combined with the run-off problem, I was unable to use my garage without boots. My landscaper hadn't responded to my calls for an estimate on spreading gravel in this area to alleviate this problem, so I called Mark's Landscaping on Monday, June 21, for an estimate. He came on Tuesday and gave me an estimate for $350. He delivered and spread out 2 yards gravel on Thursday morning and told me he would get more if needed. He also cleaned out the garage's gutters. Although Angieslist cannot locate his name or telephone number, I originally got his name and number from there last Fall when I needed gutter cleaning.

Arrived within time range of appointment. One employee was a little off-putting. Cleaned gutters. Asked for estimates on tree removal or pruning and also if there was damage on my fairly-new roof from a tree branch that I had removed. Foreman said his company couldn't handle total tree removal, but figured the job to be about $1500 for the removal and cart away. He also gave me an estimate of about $200 for the roof repair. I told him I would get back to him, but I preferred to have the roof installer do the repair.

He does very good gutter cleaning. I would highly recommend him and use him again. They are all very professional. They are very punctual as well.

Arranging the appointment went well. When he couldn't make the first appointment time he called and we rescheduled for later the same day. He arrived later in the day with two other crew members and they went to work right away. They finished the job quickly and were careful while walking around my roof. They also cleaned a portion of my neighbor's attached gutter which might affect my own drainage. They bagged the debris and didn't leave a big mess. My only problem was the small sediment which washed down the gutter spouts onto the front of my house. If there was a way to capture this and discard it would have been a flawless experience.

Prompt response, reasonable price, came at appointed time. Brought needed equipment and crew. Good cleanup. Thorough job. No pressure tactics. No complaints at all.

THEY WERE REASONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY THREW ALL OF THE DEAD LEAVES INTO A TRASH BIN, NOT JUST IN MY YARD. I THINK THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WORK THEY DID. THERE WEREN'T ANY PROBLEMS GETTING THEM HERE.
