They were great. They did a fine job. I found them on Angie's List. I booked them on a special $75 offer. They have a terrible scheduling process and I think they need help in their scheduling department. Their price is great and that's the better one. Their professionalism is very good. They were all over the place, fighting out.

They have been good with us. We've been dealing with them for 8-9 years. They are very pleasant, thorough and educated. They respond quickly. I can't comment on the price because I have nothing to compare it with since we checked pricing 8 to 9 years ago.

I called them on the 10th and gave them my address and set up the appointment for the 12th. On the 12th a couple of hours before my appointment I got a call and they told me they didn’t service my area and wouldn’t be coming. I thought it was very unprofessional that they took all of my information and set an appointment with me when they should have just told me they didn’t service my area in the first place. I called Angie's List to a refund.

I was not happy with their price, and they just told me a price randomly without looking around my yard. They also seemed disorganized.

Our Condominium Association called to get an estimate for exterior termite removal from E&G Exterminators. Their agent arrived unannounced and said he was here to inspect the interior of my home. I told him I woulfd not allow him in my home. The other exterminators didn't require access to the interior of my home. I closed the door. The representative shouted at me from behind the cloes door and started ringing my bell again. I opened the door and told him I was not interested in an interior inspection and again closed the door. Again the representative began yelling and ringing my bell. When I told him I was calling the police he fianlly stopped. I will never deal with this company again.

I really like that they're responsive. They have someone there that picks up the phone and they can schedule you right away. It's nice that they're a bigger company.

They were very punctual and professional.

Updated 1/31/12: Still not gettig anywhere with solving the problem and teh company doesn;t seem like it wants to deal with helping. I still just get the "Its a process line" but no one ever calls to give us any progress or status updates on work done or anything. Find someone else to help you! This is a review in process. We contracted E & G in December 2011 to help us get rid of squirrels that have gotten into our house. They are currently entering in the ceiling over my master bedroom. The salesman came out quickly and gave us an estimate for approx $1,100. What I thought was a really high price considering that they aren't even removing the squirrels, they simply close off the holes. I should say the service man came the next day and was very nice. It took him maybe an hour of work and then he left. unfortunately we haven't seen any improvement. We've had to call them back every single week to have them back. Clearly what they are doing isn't cutting it. On top of that, there communication has been minimalist at best. Each time they are out they haven't told us what happened except a small note once that was dropped in my mail box. For $1,100 for what is than a few hours work, I guess I wrongly thought that I would get phone call. Silly me. I understand that getting rid of these nasty rodents is tough but I was hoping to get what I paid for and i'm not convinced yet. i called to complain today so hopefully things will improve. I will check back in once things are settled. I hope!

Technicians came on time, in fact, came early. They knew exactly what they were doing and did the work promptly and efficiently.

nitially I thought we had bed bugs because I noticed some brown bugs near the guest bed where my cat sleeps so I called the exterminator right away to get a free estimate. In the meantime I did some research on the internet, and it mentioned that there was something called carpet beetles that were brown (instead of red like bed bugs) that were attracted to pet hair. The exterminator actually showed up a little early for his appointment. When the rep from E&G exterminators came over, I told him the color of the bugs and that I had read that they might be carpet beetles. He asked me if I'd experienced any bites when sleeping and when I told him no, he agreed with me that they were carpet beetles. He did look at the seams of the mattress and didn't see the blood spots that bed bugs leave behind which also made him believe they were the beetles. I told him there was something that was getting into our pasta and pet food, and he said those were mealy worms, and gave me an estimate for exterminating those as well. As it turns out, we got an estimate from another company, and they did a much more thorough inspection of the house to see where the infestation was; they said we only have carpet beetles; and they said those beetles also like pasta, rice, and pet food. The second company's estimate was more reasonable, and I like the fact that they did a more thorough inspection rather than take my word for it that they were carpet beetles.

From reading previous customer ratings, I also read that they could also be contracted to perform small construction work to fix some of the problems that the inspection may find. I did contract them to remove the ceiling tiles and 3 exterior walls, re-insulate, and put up sheetrock. This review does NOT include an evaluation of that work, and they did find evidence of activity in the ceiling and walls. The exterminator was to return in a few weeks when I called them to remove the one way tunnels (out but not back in!). I called just the other week and here is where the punctuality went downhill. I called day 1 and the exterminator called me back that same day and we set up a time for the next day. The next day came and when I called at the end of the day, I was told I was not on the schedule. So we set it up for a 2 hour window the next day. When 60 minutes past the window came, I called and I was told that I would be the next customer - but that would still be another 90 minutes. He did arrive and performed the service.I don't know if the price was fair but I knew what the total cost would be up front. The other company wanted to charge me a fixed rate to come out to the house and then an hourly rate for the service.

My inspection was scheduled two days after contacting E&G, which I was very pleased with. The technician Ray was prompt and professional. He thoroughly inspected our blankets, pillows, sheets, mattress, box spring, baseboards, behind the baseboards, around the bedframe and in the electrical sockets. He brought an information sheet about bed bugs and explained many things about the behavior and activity of the insects. At the conclusion of the inspection, Ray also gave us options for what to do if bites continued including treatment costs and what to expect from treatment procedures and schedules. No sign of bedbugs were found, and it was concluded that we were suffering from mosquitos, not bed bugs. (hooray!). I will definietly use their service again.

Everything was fine, but when I had racoons in the attic they charged me $650.00 which is almost double what another company charges. This same company charged me $450.00 last year. What I thought was strange with the racoons was that the tech was able to set his own price. The tech that comes for the ants/bees does an excellent job.

E&G EXTERMINATORS INC. They were very good. The problem was easily solved.

They do a good job and I am very satisfied with them. They are very thorough and we have no complaints.

They are competent and their price is good.

I think everything went well. I’ve had termite treatments before so I guess the proof will be whether the termites come back or not. One thing that made this company different than the others is that they drilled from inside the house in my problem area. He was an hour late.

I would like to recommend them. The salesman was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, courteous, and on time. I liked them a lot. I actually didn't have termites. I am actually selling my house and the building inspector found termite damage. I went ahead and had E&G perform termite treatment although I don't have termites so that I could just give it to the real estate agent. The construction worker was great. He was courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. He did a great job. That did pass my building inspection for the township. I also had them give estimates on additional work because they were very good, but I haven't gone ahead and done that yet. I will be calling them to do some additional work in my house. Not only do they treat the termite condition, they also do repair work and they also do home improvement.

Came in sprayed. No problem. They will return free of charge if bugs come back.

They were fine. They were professional, they were on time, and they did a nice job. There was no mess and no fuss. I don?t have anything to compare the price against but I think it sounded fair.

Termites tracks were found on a home inspection. I contacted E&G and got an in home estimate within 2 days. It was explained what would be done in detail including a picture of what areas would be treated and how that would protect the home. Once I agreed to the terms, the work was scheduled within 4 days (due to my work shedule). The exterminator arrived as scheduled, did what was promised and left the work area clean. I was very pleased. Everyone I encountered during the process was professional.

After 6 months we finally had a buyer for our house. The home inspection pointed out that we had termites. I had another company do the extermination. They informed me that there was structural damage. I was panicked since I did not want to lose our buyers, and did not know the extent of the damage. I only had three weeks to closing. I called for estimates two companies I found on Angie's List, but there were no reviews for either. Both companies came the next day for free estimates. E & G gave me the estimate on the spot, and told me they could do it the next day. The other company had a higher estimate with no time frame when it could be done. I was in a hurry, and after finding E & G had a A rating on BBB.org, I went with them. They came promptly the next day, replaced both sills, cleaned up after themselves, and did an outstanding job. They also explained what they were doing, and were very polite. If I had gone with the other company, it would have been a lot more expensive since they charge by the foot, and who knows when it would have been done. I highly reccommend E & G Exterminators.

Mixed bag-lots of follow-up on my part, a large outlay of cash. First location-squirrels. Several entry points-old wood by gutters was chewed, squirrels nesting inside walls of house. Estimator Richie says $1400 to take down an old tunnel, seal holes, apply new tunnels. I was paying by cc; Rich took my cc info at time of est; they charged me $700 on day of est., bal. next day when workers came. First set of guys weren't bad. Installed one-way tunnels in some holes, covered other holes. Told me to call after no more squirrels heard. I realized afterward they'd missed 2 holes, so called them within 2 days because still hearing animals. After more than 2 weeks, they returned to cover remaining holes so we could start waiting for squirrels to leave. A month later I asked them to come & finish. They removed all tunnels, cover holes with patches (not carpentry work, which Rich had said would be additional). But about 2 mos later I noticed that one of those patches wasn't metal, but a piece of vinyl siding, which the squirrels had easily chewed thru again. Called again for new patch. I questioned why they don't allow us to pay in installments, with bal. after finish of job, like most companies do. I was told the work is guaranteed for a year, so in other words, they're going to charge you up front, then it's up to you to keep calling to make sure the job is done. 2nd location-they couldn't say if it was rats or squirrels or both. Rich quotes $2200 (!!!!!) to include a one-way tunnel at gutter (workers said this wasn't needed so they didn't do, yet no refund given), replaced chimney cap which I owned but had come off, cage in attic, "rat-proof basement & seal all holes, dryer vent-seal it, & vacant sewer pipe-cap it, tack up insulation." Workers stuffed openings with copper wool (Stuffit), tack up insulation, put cage. Same night, I hear an animal in a 2nd FL radiator where never before heard. I call E& G and leave msg. I see the copper wool pushed in/pulled out in 2 places, so I think it's not really a rat deterrent. No one responds to first call. I call again; on Christmas Eve 2 new guys come and put Stuffit again. I say that doesn't work, can you do something more? When I insist, they put a too-fine-gauge wire mesh on 2 holes. I call to get openings sealed more permanently per estimate. Guys come one day, it's raining, they do nothing. They never contact me again. I write them a letter detailing all, asking how we can proceed. I'm saying I'd like half my money back because it's still not finished & it seems they overcharged. No reply. I call. They say they received no letter. I tell them I'll send again. I sent it. A guy Eddie comes to see what I want. I talk about permanent closure of holes. I talk cement & metal caps. He nods but comes back next day & puts poison foam in all holes. Says he can come back and trim the expanded foam. I doubt I'll bother. Each new set of workers was less capable than the ones before them. I think too much $.

E & G Exterminators does a very thorough job of checking for termites and ants. They are very professional and come without being nagged. I pay them an annual fee for their 4 yearly visits. I'm very happy with their service and would recommend them.
