Not good, they said because the house is half 3 family and the other half 2 family the only did a visual inspection and not even a estimate until I call and ask for it

Lev came to do an initial inspection, going up on the roof to see what work needed to be done. While up there, he did some minor repairs before going up later to replace missing / damaged shingles in two small areas. I really appreciate that Lev was able to do this despite the rather steep pitch of our roof, and he did this very quickly, so we're definitely happy with the work. Thanks!

I made the appointment and Lev came out to give me an estimate on my roof. Approximately 3 years ago, we hired a contractor who did a roof replacement and charged about the same amount as the estimate Lev provided. Lev identified that the roof was done wrong and in some areas, there were shingles placed directly on the roof with no flashing. Additionally, the roof was nailed incorrectly, which explains why we developed leaks about 3 months after the original contractor had installed a brand new roof. Lev took pictures of all of this and showed me the evidence. I decided to sign a contract with Lev because he was professional, seemed honest and because he was straightforward and not pushy. He was knowledgeable and explained in detail what would be done. On the day that my roof was to be installed, Lev and his workers showed up on time and immediately began working. After tearing off the shingles, Lev took pictures and showed me the damaged areas where repairs were needed to my roof. Lev and his crew worked extremely hard all day. They were neat and protected my plants and flowers. When they finished, I was extremely pleased! More importantly, I could sleep at night without wondering whether my ceiling would cave in. My husband was also pleased with the end result. Thanks Lev for the wonderful job on my roof! It looks beautiful!

Lev inspected my roof and performed an extra task that was not included in the estimate, so I offered him an extra $50, but he refused to take the extra money. I am very pleased with the end result. After buying Angies List special, Levs Construction called shortly after and setup an appointment for the following week (this Tuesday). On Tuesday, they called again around lunch time to confirm the appointment. Lev arrived on time, and after a short conversation about the roof age, and any problems I may be having, he went up on the roof and got to work. He thoroughly inspected the roof and all protrusions, and fixed the fascia on the back of the house, where I knew it was loose. He also re-nailed fascia in other places where I didn't even know there was a problem. He came back down and confirmed that the roof itself is in great shape, but he did find a problem with the chimney, which has lose mortar joints and needs fixing. He strongly recommended I call a chimney specialist to repoint the bricks in the chimney, before it falls apart, which is a lot more expensive to repair, then to just fix some mortar joints. I'm very happy with Lev and his company. They were professional, courteous, pleasant, and they really know their trade. A unique experience these days, where a lot of contractors don't call back, don't show up, or show up and then you never hear from them again after they give you a quote. A company like Levs is very hard to find these days. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone, and will definitely use them again in the future!

Well - even the unexpected wood repairs underneath the siding

It was $299 but there was an extra charge because there was more than what was included in the $299. It is possible that I might use them again. I gave them a "C" overall because I think their workmanship could have been better. They were punctual.

I bought an Angie's List $219 voucher for some gutter, roof, siding work. I called them and the guy came out on the weekend. He was a nice gentleman who was up on the roof several times. He cleaned the gutters and fixed the gutters, but he said he did not have the piece I needed. He probably did $219 worth of work. He said I needed a certain kind of molding. As soon as he left I found the piece I needed but he was already gone. He should have known he was coming to fix the soffit. Then I called them back and told them I found the soffit. He gave me a bid for $650 to put the soffit up. So I didn't use them. They came out when they said they would and did work, but they didn't do the work I wanted them to do. I talked to a lady and told her I wanted a soffit put up and she said she didn't know anything about soffits, which I thought was kind of strange, you know? She said she didn't know I wanted it done and I told her I had told them three or four times. It took them two weeks to get back to me on this redo. It was kind of frustrating. They are not native speakers so it is a little difficult.

Went great. He did not pressure us to make any immediate changes to the roof, which was great. He was courteous and helpful, and he didn't try to up-sell unnecessary items.

Two guys showed up 45 minutes early for an 8 am appt, without calling. They said they might not be able to stop the roof leak because the roofing was too old and they recommended a roof replacement. It seemed that all they wanted to do was to sell me a new roof. I asked them to try to see if they could find the leak area. They did do some caulking, and we did not have leaking in this last rainstorm. They also did some gutter cleaning, but in total, only stayed half the time paid for. ( I could have found other things for them to do, but they left without saying goodbye.)

I was quite satisfied. The original offer (one of the specials by email) was $200 for the inspection and minor repairs; the siding replacement was $175 plus NJ state tax.

Lev and his crew were honest, prompt, and hard working. They worked long hours and were very professional. They removed and replaced the gutters and downspouts, cleaned up after the job, and did a very thorough job. I would highly recommend Lev to anyone needing a quality roofing job. Another contractor had given me an estimate for caulking around a few areas, but this would not have been the correct solution. I am confident that this new roof will last for many years.

It is now about 6 months later and everything is good. Very nice people to deal with. I would use them again.

Very well. He found a few problem areas that will probably need attention in the future, and he installed, for no charge a spare tile we had on a damaged area.

It went very well, you could not see where the repair was done. Also had some gutters replaced that were also damaged.
