Great - diagnosed the problem right a way, ordered the part needed and repaired the unit in about one week total time.

As soon as Dave turned on the computer, he noticed it didn't sound right. He diagnosed and repaired a problem I didn't even know existed. He gave me a good price on the unexpected expense and replaced the broken drive ahead of schedule.

Very well Dave was patient and knowledgeable. I would definitely use him again.

Great service. Dave's Computers was able to tune up my older computer to make it run better than my new computer. I was almost ready to discard the older computer because it was so slow but now that it has been tuned up by Dave's Computers, it has a lot of life left.

Needs a class in bedside manners. Not exactly sure of the date. Work was done by remote. i will never go that route again.

I noticed that my computer wasn't working properly and I couldn't fix it. I purchased an Angie's List "deal" with Dave's Computers to solve the problem. Dave was able to remote into my computer and immediately knew that malware and/or spyware were affecting it. He ran software to clean it up and it worked but not completely. He then ran more software, removed a lot of junk, defragged the computer, and it worked better than when I got it. I was very impressed with his professionalism and service.

It was okay. He did a good job and did everything I asked him to. He wasn’t fantastic at explaining things or customer relations. I was having some problems with accessing & organizing my photos.

The tech spent a lot of time on the issue, told me it was solved, but only temporarily. I called them back to say it had not been corrected, but did not hear back. I ended up correcting it myself by creating a new Outlook profile, making the new profile my default profile, deleting all old data files and the corrupted profile (found info online on how to do that) and now it's working fine.

Upon checking the Pogo games which require Java, was unable to open the games as Java was not the version for Win. 8. Prior to the installation of Java, I was able to load the games. Now that the new Java version is installed, unable to play certain games. Called Sol at Dave's Computer and explained the problem. He said he would call Angie's list to discuss the matter as Sol mentioned additional cost to look at the problem. Also, on the Outlook e-mail, pop up "Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working." This has occurred 2x this morning so far. I did indicate "A" for their work, but I am concerned about the problems that I am having. Would appreciate your speaking with Dave Computer to get this resolved.

excellent service except it took to long to complete which meant I had to stay at home during service. This issue was due to technician working on too many computers at the same time.

Provider could not get in the computer remotely.

Brought the computer in on Friday morning. Explained the problem. Dave assured me he'd get back to me by the end of day Friday to let me know what the problem was. He called at 4:30. Computer was fixed. Picked it up on Saturday. No nonsense. Very professional. Pricing stated in advance.

Started at 2:00 and finished at 7:00, did a complete analysis and cleaning of the laptop. Runs very well now, after hardly running at all before. Very satisfied.

The service went pretty well. He did a lot to my computer and I was happy with what he did. He completed the service in the full hour. The technician was very pleasant. The computer is back to where it was, however, and has a few issues again. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

It was to be a tuneup Sol started went to lunch then on return could not complete. Said i needed more ram. Tried to purchase more ram. Called several times to complete could never connect finally i could not even access my computer at all. Went from being slow to not working at all. Now i have no choice but to purchase a new computer. The service i paid for was never done. I am not blaming them or me. Just want my money back for a service that i paid for and did not receive.

Sol was amazingly personal and professional at the same time. Very very thorough.

He took remote control of our computer and checked all the files for viruses, cleaned it up, installed new software to prevent viruses, and gave us advice on keeping our computer running at maximum speed. We were not able to open up software he emailed to us and took extra time to get control from his end instead of just giving up. He discussed everything he was doing with us either on the computer or phone. He actually went over his 4 hours we paid for but did not quit until we were all satisfied and he felt there was nothing else to fix. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone as he knows what he is doing and is honest.

I was very impressed with it. He had a selection of used equipment and was able to take my old drive from the computer being that it was working on a operating system that was not being supported by Microsoft XP. He put it in a Dell computer which was probably a much better machine than I had. It was an older machine that I tested out in the store and it seemed to perform as expected. This is the first time I used him and I got his name off Angie's List. I have not plugged in the new computer, but I assume it will work okay. He was very timely and called me at the times he said he would. He was testing a computer that I was not aware of so I was like the first guy in last guy out. He is a one man operation and is a young fellow who grew up fixing computers. He is an easy guy to get along with.

I couldn't get the company to communicate with me regarding setting up an appointment to fix my computer. I gave them my email at first and then got a computer contact via "Allan" and I gave my email again and then my phone number. I contacted them several times via computer with no response. I am very disappointed as no one emailed me nor phoned me to assist with my computer. As soon as I mentioned "Angie's List" "Allan" would not talk to me and needed to get someone who never. This is unacceptable in the service industry, I expected more. I received no service. I gave them an "F" because of NO COMMUNICATION.

I got a message from Dave via e-mail stating that he was available anytime, so I scheduled my appointment through his service for that evening. I got another e-mail shortly thereafter stating that he was busy and that he had changed my appointment to my originally requested time of 11 am on Monday (which I had requested through the Angie's List website). When we connected on Monday, he was polite and professional, and he remoted into my machine to perform diagnostics. He did not seem very interested in chit-chat about what was happening, so I just let him do his thing. After a few minutes on the phone to establish remote connection to my computer, we got off the phone because diagnostics and virus removal take time. The total amount of time spent was well over an hour, so that was great. He called me back when he felt like everything was taken care of, and we ran a few tests together to help determine whether the computer ran faster. Although he is not really interested in helping with questions outside directly logging in and virus removal, from my experience, he was really good at what he did. The computer has unexpectedly shut down a few times since I talked to Dave, but I think it's just overheating and will eventually have to be replaced.

This service was excellent. My computer was infected with malware and viruses. Dave identified them, removed them and recommended a different security software. He removed the old security software and installed the recommended alternative. In addition, he identified other issues causing my PC to run slowly.These were fixed as well. My computer hasnt worked this well since it was new---4 years ago!! Thanks again Dave gpj
