Last year I called Mr. Yager in November regarding snow removal and was informed he was not taking on any more business for the season. This year I made a point of calling right after Labor Day. It took five weeks and several reminder calls from me to finally get an estimate from the secretary. The offer was very confusing to me, so I asked the secretary to clarify several points. She confessed that she did not understand the details of the offer either and told me Mr. Yager would call me back himself. I waited six days for the call without result before calling the office myself. At that point the secretary told me Mr. Yager reneged on his offer and she had been too busy to give me the courtesy of a call to inform me of this.
Description of Work: After six weeks of multiple phone calls to Mr. Yager in an attempt to get a coherent estimate and contract for snow removal services, I had to call back yet again only to be informed by the secretary that Mr. Yager had taken on too much work and rescinded his offer (confusing as it was) made six days ago (which was the first week of October). The secretary told me she was "swamped" and therefore was unable to call me to tell me of the cancellation herself.

We were recently made aware of this review. Upon reading, we learned that there are several false points: 1. We would never take the amount of time to respond to a customer as claimed in this review. Should an extended period of time be required for any estimate, our clients are contacted immediately to inform them. They are also asked during this conversation if they'd like to remain on our estimate list or if they are no longer interested in receiving information from us. We act according to what our clients request. 2. Any member of our staff is knowledgeable in their position. Therefore, the claim that the "secretary" was also confused regarding the quote is completely off-base. Furthermore, the office manager is the person who fields calls from customers and would have been more than capable of explaining the contract, estimate, etc. and would have been able to address any concerns. Also, the office manager is the specific individual who drafts the contracts and is very aware of what is meant and included in each of them. 3. Please note that we are never "swamped" and often times work well after business hours to help any client who requires it and to ensure that no customer has to be inconvenienced by extended wait periods. 4. Upon review of our call logs as well as our system, we were able to learn that no such conversation/conversations took place. 5. Mr. Yager does not "renege" on any quote once extended to a customer. That's simply poor business and not how we operate here. In conclusion, we request that you, as a potential customer, please ignore this bad review as it does not convey the kind of company Yager Lawn Maintenance LLC is nor how we operate. We work very hard to ensure our clients are satisfied with any information sent to them as well as the finished product of the work we complete. The above review is false and unwarranted.
